Remi put on her suit to start to fight. She had upgraded it into a fireproof suit along with a belt and black boots. She put the X on the front as usual, but made it blue instead. She put the mask on her face that was full black and put her earpiece on. This time, it wasn't Blyke or Isen, but it was Anya. Anya was stronger than Blyke and Isen, and with her Remi had a chance to beat Volcan.
Anya wore a full black suit that also was fireproof and she stood on top of a building and watched Remi. She'd jump in when necessary because her defence was better than Remi's. She watched Remi go after her target named Neia. Her ability was supposedly called Rock Shards at 2.9 . But obviously, after hearing what Remi told her, it would be more like a 4.7 or so. Remi still would be able to beat them pretty easily.
Remi dashed forward, chasing Neia. It was difficult because rocks kept flying at her and rising from the ground. Neia suddenly turned to a different street while Remi was preoccupied. Remi huffed and looked around but she had lost her. Through the earpiece Anya told her that she had turned a right then a left. Remi ran quickly and saw Neia's foot. Remi blasted her lightning at Neia and shocked her. Neia fell to the ground with a thump.
10 minutes later, Neia woke with her hands and legs tied.
Neia: What-t do you want?
Remi rolled her eyes and pointed at her arm which was riddled with injection wounds.
Remi: Call Volcan.
Neia blinked.
Neia: How do you know Vol-
Remi yelled: CALL HER! NOW.
Neia nodded furiously and desperately called her. She had to dial the number twice to get it right.
Neia: H-Hey Volcan, can you come here right now?
*blablabla*
Neia: Yes, XXX Street. Quickly, Please.
They waited for 25 minutes or so when a black car rolled in. An intricate black boot came out, and Volcan stood while the car now rolled off. Volcan rolled her eyes when she saw Remi.
Volcan: You again?
Remi shielded Neia from Volcan.
Remi: Neia, run. She'd going to kill you first chance she gets.
Neia blinked, then dashed away. Volcan watched her become smaller in the distance, then turned back to Remi. Remi activated her ability to start attacking Volcan when Volcan held up her hands in mock defeat.
Volcan: I don't want to fight you. I have something to ask you-
Remi growled and lashed out at Volcan. Volcan activated her ability and swiftly dodged her attack.
Volcan: Isn't that a little rude? To start by attacking -
Remi hissed at Volcan and kept attacking. Volcan dodged as easily as before. Remi couldn't help but feel her heart sink. She still wasn't strong enough. Remi stopped. She still kept her guard up though.
Remi: What did you want to ask me?
Volcan shrugged.
Volcan: Just wanted to let you know that I'm pretty sure I saw your sniper friend around here. If you have nothing else to do but FIGHT... I'm leaving. I don't have time for this. But this is the only time I am going to let you go.
Remi huffed, and stood up straighter.
Remi: Bl- my sniper friend? He did a number on you last time.
Volcan rolled her eyes.
Volcan: He sure did, which is infuriating. But you did not. I'm sure that's not much to brag about.
Remi stiffened. If they fought now, she was sure it be at least a little different.
Remi: Ugh... I'm not letting you off next time.
Volcan curtly nodded and walked away. Remi couldn't help but feel in vain.

John sat in his room, struggling through his homework. He reached for his phone to ask Seraphina when he stopped short.
Seraphina.
He grinded his teeth and slammed his pencil on the table. Why didn't she trust him? He had given her everything - and why did she betray him now, when he needed her support most?
He didn't have a choice. He walked over to Arlo's room and knocked. Arlo opened the door and glowered at him. They looked at each other for a moment when Arlo started to close the door. John stopped the door with his foot and held up his paper.
John: Do you know how to do this.
Arlo read the question silently, and smirked.
Arlo: You're the strongest in Wellston, and you can't solve a simple trigonometry problem?
John cursed, and shoved the paper in Arlo's face.
John: Tell me how to do it.
Arlo ripped off the paper, still smirking.
Arlo: Just use law of cosine and blabla...
John blinked. Then he nodded slowly.
John: Thanks... Arlo.
Arlo smiled with his teeth showing.
Arlo: I still can't believe you can't solve a simple math question.
John turned and stamped his foot.
John: Not everyone's a genius when they're born OK?
Arlo rolled his eyes, his front teeth still showing. Then he closed the door.
John sighed. At least with Arlo he wouldn't be failing Trigonometry.

Blyke sighed as he stood on top of a billboard, looking down at his enemies. He was going to defeat them. His eyes glinted and huffed. He was starting to have second thoughts, but quickly shook it off. There was no turning back.
