"Damn it!" Day shouted. "Which room could this key go too?!"

"Sir, calm down. I'm sure we'll find her, we kind need to take time and think about this-"

"We have no time!" The red horned devil shouts again. "We only have an hour and most of that time has been wasted! I don't get Sekhaz's damn game why is he tormenting me?!" He gripped his head and made a growl like noise. "What did I ever do to him?" He muttered.

"Help!"

"Eh?" Both devils muttered, looking around.

"Let me out!"

"That voice..." Day muttered.

"Day!"

"Esme!" He shouts, running to the direction of where the voice is coming from, Ren following behind him.

The devils stopped at a door where the voice was loudest. Day fumbled with trying to put the key in the lock, once he did he opened the door.

"Esme-! Eh?"

There was no one in there.

"Did you really think it'd be that easy and I wouldn't get in your way?" A voice says with a snicker.

"Damn it Sekhaz!" Day shouts, looking around. "Where are you?!"

"I can't tell ya' that!~" the black haired devil said with an innocent tone. "But I'll have you know I placed multiple voice machines around, with that girl saying the same stuff. All the 'help me!' and the 'I don't wanna die' shenanigans. You just have to figure out which room is where I locked her up and isn't a voice machine. Also you might wanna hurry. You've lost half your time and the last thing she sees before she dies is going to be the dark and we all know how much she loves that. Well anyways have fun!~"

'"I hate the dark.'" Her voice saying that kept replaying in Day's head. She's locked up in a dark room... just like how she was in that orphanage.

"Damn it we have to keep going! Now!" Day yelled.

"Right... Let's go, sir." Ren says.

~

"Damn it! Another dead end! These stupid voice machines aren't helping either!" Day yelled.

"Dazod! You need to stop being rash and think rationally for a moment!" Ren tells him.

"I don't have a moment!-" The sound of a slap was heard.

"Huh...?" Day muttered, the side of his face now had a faded hand mark.

"Day. You need to think for a second. Where haven't we checked?" Lothren asked him, his voice calm.

"Somewhere we haven't checked...?" Day thought aloud. "Ah! The lowest floor of the castle!"

"Correct. That's most likely where she was hidden. Now we must hurry, we have about fifteen minutes left." Ren says, biting his lip.

"Then let's go!" Day said.

Once they got down to the basement they were greeted with many doors, all were locked.
