If there was one thing Jennie loved but would never admit: it was cuddling.

There was something about being wrapped in the arms of a loved one that made Jennie feel calm, safe, and important.

Someone clinging to you in there time of rest, easing their minds and calming their spirits knowing that you're there with them and you're not going anywhere.

Unfortunately, although Jennie loved it, it was something she wasn't able to do often. Her sisters did it when they were young but as they grew older the farther they drifted apart from each other.

So, when Jennie awoke to find herself wrapped in the arms of another, her own arm draped around the figure, she was happy and a little bit confused.

She looked up at the figure and blinked in shock when she saw Hope laying beside her.

Then she recalled last night's events. Hope had comforted her as she broke down in Hope's arms, letting the brunette lay against her shoulder as she quietly cried herself to sleep. Hope must have fallen asleep herself.

A small smile crept on the brunette's face as she snuggled closer to the auburn. She knew once Hope woke up it would be over and she didn't want this moment to end, not just yet. So she was going to savor every last moment.

Jennie closed her eyes as she focused on Hope's soft heartbeats, slowly drifting off into sleep.

The next time Jennie awoke, Hope was gone.

The youngest Saltzman instantly sat up when she noticed the Tribrid's lack of presence.

"Hope?" Jennie called out as she scanned the room.

She frowned when she didn't get a response. With a heavy sigh, Jennie lifted herself off of her bed and walked over to her drawer.

No doubt Hope was horrified when she woke up. Hope didn't want to ruin their friendship and Jennie was pretty sure cuddling wasn't exactly something "friends" did.

Jennie had picked out the day's outfit when a soft knock came from the door. The door opened and shut as Hope Mikaelson walked in, dressed and ready for the day, a pinkish-reddish drink in her hand.
