Amber's POV:

3rd and 4th period is double P.E where we play netball. I hate netball but weirdly I love it when we're playing against a really bad team.

There's always that one team of girls who run away and scream when a ball comes near them. I don't want to be mean but I wouldn't want to be in a team where people run away and scream when a ball comes near them, crying about a broken nail..It's just a norm at this point. Then there's always another group who wins and a group who always lose. We can't forget the group whose not really good but not like bad either. That's our group.

This lesson Mr Hawthorn let us pick our own teams of five. So, obviously it was me, Lilly, Ebony, Dana and Rana ( the two basically identical Irish twins in our year.) They're quite sporty and competitive which works out really well because we ended up winning every game we played, except one.

I check my watch, that I took off and put in my pocket to see that it's nearly the end of lesson. Only 15 more minutes left. I groan at the pain in my legs, it's only halfway through the school day and I'm already so tired. I'm on the verge of zoning out when I hear someone screaming "SIR!!! LUCY'S FAINTED."

My heart falls  to my stomach at the sight of Lucy sprawled out on the floor, her skin pale, as Mr Hawthorn begins putting her into the recovery position and calling her name.

The assistant teacher starts to calm down majority of the class who thinks she's died. I've seen too much people faint, so I'm quite used to it. However barely
anyone has ever fainted at our school so it was a little bit like an alien visit for the rest of the class.

Everyone from class swiftly surrounds Lucy, all on edge waiting for the second she opens her eyes. Thankfully I remember it isn't safe to surround the person and I tell everyone, " she needs some space so get back and don't crowd around her." Thankfully everyone listens and we all patiently wait.

Out of the blue, we hear ear wrenching screams and cries from the back of the hall, away from where Lucy is. I whip my head back and see Ebony in the middle of a panic attack, holding her hand over her heart. Shit.

I rush over to her, kneel down on the floor, and tell her to breathe in and out. First I ask her if she's okay with me being here and when she quickly nods in between her cries I thrust a water bottle in her hands and quickly tell her to stop crying because she's just panicking herself more when she's doing that.

Then half the class, that isn't with Lucy, comes rushing over and I scream for them to take a step back. Explaining that if everyone runs over to her she'll probably panic more and we don't want that.

About a minute or two later I notice she seems to have calmed down, as her screams and cried stop and her breathing returns back to normal. "How you doing now? Are you feeling better?" I ask her, not really expecting an answer, she might still be recovering.

"Yeah, I'm fine now thank you so much." She responds smiling from ear to ear. "I thought I was gonna pass out then." And then when she lets out a soft chuckle I know she's gonna be alright.

Seconds later I heard someone shout, " Why hasn't anyone called a proper first- aider yet ?!"

"Rana! How dare y— I am a proper first aider!" Mr Hawthorn shouts and everyone starts laughing. The only way he knew it was Rana was because she has dark black hair, whereas Rana has light brown/red hair. It's the only way anyone knows the difference.

The sound of a door slamming resonates throughout the hall and I see bits of red hair flying out from the door, that means it's Dana, who seems to have taken her sister's advice and ran out to get another teacher.
