Jungkook's Light

Chapter 26

~Jungkook~

"Is everything okay?" Namjoon asked Jungkook when they were away from the cameras and on the plane.

"Yeah," Jungkook muttered, propping his chin on the palm of his hand, glancing outside the window.

Jungkook felt a squeeze on his shoulder and glanced over to see Namjoon, sitting beside him. "Are you sure?"

Biting his lip, Jungkook nodded. "Yeah, hyung, don't worry about me."

Namjoon studied Jungkook for a long while before finally nodding, "Alright. You let us know if your head hurts or if you need anything."

Jungkook let out a soft laugh, nodding. 

Jimin glanced Jungkook and Namjoon's way, looking a little too concern. 

Jungkook smiled, hoping he won't be too concern about Jungkook. He doesn't want his members to worry about him because he was okay now. He needed them to focus on the concerts and their health more than anything right now. 

As the plane took off, Jungkook thought back to the night where Jiwoo was crying. After hearing her scream, Jungkook didn't hesitate and rushed to her room, only to see her break down like that.

A part of Jungkook broke when he saw her tears... when he saw how hard she was trying not to cry. She was so strong. Jungkook's got to give her that.

Jungkook held her until she passed out before carrying her back to her room. He didn't want to leave her but he had no other choice since there's so much that needs to be done before he and his members leave.

When he saw his members in the living room, he knew they were worried about Jiwoo too. After all, they also witnessed her crying in his arms too.

Jungkook merely shook his head, telling them that he doesn't know why she was crying. Looking at his members faces then; he knew they also have no idea why she'll be like this too.

Maybe it's because Jiwoo was his fiancée that he feels compelled to have to care for her. To be there for her. And to have her with him at all times.

He was reluctant about leaving her behind. Jungkook knew his members felt the same way too. He could see them in deep conversations and sharing hugs while he was making phone calls. Jungkook felt a spark of jealousy when he saw how much they also love and adore her.

Jungkook glanced down at his phone, scrolling through his gallery. He's got to admit and say a part of him softened up towards Jiwoo when he saw their pictures on his phone. He knew he was deeply in love with her, looking at the past him.

They were so happy, Jungkook thought to himself.
