~Jiwoo~

My eyes flickered open.

I glanced around the room and saw that there were tubes stuck in my arm and that I was wearing an oxygen mask. I could hear the machines beeping too. I looked around once more. Gunho wasn't here.

Just then I saw movement to the side and weakly looked over to see who it was.

To my surprise, it was Jungkook. Jungkook who is supposed to be overseas for his concert. Why was he here? Why am I still alive? Did I dream of seeing Gunho or did I actually see him?

I watched as Jungkook made his way towards me. I saw it right there and then. I saw tears in his eyes and in those beautiful eyes of his, I saw anger and hurt. Pain filled his features as he neared me.

As he reached me, Jungkook leaned down and placed his hands down on the bed beside my head. He said nothing but glanced down at me. I felt a single drop of his tear on my cheek. Seeing how broken he looks and how hard he was trying not to cry; it made me teared up too. I couldn't even touch him or wipe his tears away because I couldn't even lift my hand up. So, I was forced to watch as Jungkook battled his own emotions with my very own eyes.

Then Jungkook lowered his head down, touching his forehead against mine, closing his eyes. I too, closed my eyes at his intimate touch. I opened my eyes when I felt Jungkook moved back slightly.

Then to my surprise, Jungkook leaned back down and then before I know it, he pulled my earlobe with his teeth, tugging it before nipping it, making me flinched slightly at the familiarity of it. This was how Jungkook expresses his anger and frustration out on me whenever I did something wrong...and we're in public places like this.

Jungkook pulled back and smirked when he saw how wide my eyes were. It was then that I saw the familiar warmth in his eyes. It was him. Jungkook. My Jungkook.

Very weakly, I lifted my hand towards where my earlobe was but couldn't reach it despite how much I tried. I wanted to make sure I wasn't still dreaming or something.

Seeing this, Jungkook reached out and brushed my hair back, murmuring, "Rest some more, baby. That was one hell of a long surgery."

Tears welled in my eyes. I was this close—this close to not seeing Jungkook's face again. Not seeing Jungkook anymore. What was I thinking feeling the need to die before even seeing that warm look in his eyes that are meant just for me?

I was crying before I knew it. Every part of my body aches every time I tried to breathe. My chest especially hurt from the surgery too.

Knowing that I was pain, Jungkook sighed and grabbed hold of my hand, brushing his lips across my knuckles.

"I'm here," he said, his tone rough with emotions, "You're here. We're both here. I'm not letting you go easily."

I wanted to ask him why he's here. There was so many questions but I wasn't able to ask any of them because I drifted back to sleep.

I don't know how long I've been out but I finally woke up once more. I tried to focus but my vision blurred and I was feeling frustrated than ever. Did I dream of seeing...

"Jungkook," I whispered, feeling his presence before I was able to see him. He's here. I wasn't dreaming.

Jungkook glanced down at me, placing his hands on the hospital bed, eyes locked on mine, "I've got a flight to catch soon. I've already called my parents. They should be here soon to pick you up and look after you while I head back to the members."

I blinked a few times so I could focus on him.

"What?" I whispered, not following him.

"I heard about you collapsing," he told me. "I got the company to accept and pay for the surgery and you had the surgery in time."

"The members?"

"They're not here," Jungkook replied. "I left them the minute I heard about you. I should go back and wrap up the concerts with them."

He leaned down towards me, so close that I could see his eyes and the emotions in them. I knew that angry look in his eyes when his eyes flickered to meet mine. He was pissed but is trying to hold back from saying or doing anything.

I turned my head to the side but Jungkook grabbed hold of my chin, lifting it up so that we could make eye contact, "You and I have a lot to talk about, my precious fiancée."

I gulped.

"But we'll do that when I get back and you've recovered."

"You know," I whispered.

He didn't bother lying. "Yeah. I know."

"You... remember," I whispered.

"Yeah. I remember."

I swallowed. "Wh-what are you going to do about it?"

Jungkook released his hold on my chin and looked down at me, "I'll deal with you lot."

That doesn't sound good.

"Jungkook," I began.

He turned his back towards me, "I need to be on my way now. Rest."

"But Jungkook—"

"Rest, Jiwoo."

I sighed, "You're mad."

"After I whopped my hyungs' asses for keeping this from me," Jungkook said, cracking his knuckles before looking over his shoulders at me. "I'll deal with you."

"Me?" I croaked.

"We promised not to keep secrets."

"Jungkook—"

"We promised not to keep secrets," he said firmly.

"But I forced them to—"

He arched his eyebrows, "Advice, Jiwoo. This is the time you shut up to save yourself."

I glared, "I can't just—"

Jungkook was a few metres away from me but within a blink of an eye, he was right in my space. He grabbed hold of my chin, forcing it up before giving me a hard and rough kiss, leaving me breathless.

"You have less than a month to think of a really good excuse," Jungkook said, giving me a hard look before he smirked. Boy, he was so mad. "I am not happy with what's been happening these last few months."

"Jungkook," I whispered.

"I love you," he murmured against my lips. "You know it too."

Pulling away from me, Jungkook reaches out and touched my hair affectionately, "I'll be back soon."

I watched as Jungkook walked towards the door but just as he was about to open the door, I blurted, "I-I love you too."

Jungkook glanced over his shoulder at me and his eyes warmed. With one more smile, Jungkook walked out of there, leaving me behind.

Even though I was alone in that hospital room, it feels as if I'm alone anymore.
