"Wake up!"
I jumped, grabbing a spatula of the counter. My body slouched as I tossed it at Jaehyo. "Who let you in?" I mumbled.
"And good morning to you too." He chuckled, catching it before it hit him. "I actually called you a couple of times, you didn't pick up so I helped myself."
"You know very well that my dad hates you." I popped, dragging my feet to the other end of the kitchen with the sharp pain in my back. Stupid Jimin just had to have his stupid paperwork done a week early didn't he?
"Wow. You didn't even try to sugar coat that." He cried dramatically, clutching onto his shirt as if he was in excruciating pain.
"It is what it is." I added in amusement.
"Ouch." He mocked, leaning back into my chair. "He's not here anyway, his car isn't in the driveway."
I rubbed my eyes and stretched my arms, grabbing some milk out of the fridge and pouring it into a bowl. "Yah, be of some use and get the cereal." My voice croaked groggily.
"This one?" He said, waving a box of cornflakes in the air.
"What? No. What do I look like? Fifty?" I grumbled. "Get the good stuff. The fruit loops."
"Well shit Aerin, I didn't know you were seven. This stuff isn't good for you, you know." He scolded.
"Your face isn't good for me." I scoffed.
"That doesn't make sense." He said, rolling his eyes. "Unless you're saying that I'm eye candy that you can't handle, then yes." He smirked, wiggling his eyebrows.
"I'll handle you with this spoon if you don't shut up." I threatened, lazily waving the spoon towards his face like a sword.
"You know you love me." He popped, skipping towards me and tapping my nose.
"How did you get in exactly?" I mumbled, swatting his hand away from my face. I quickly grabbed my chair before he stole it again, making him frown.
"I just looked around for the spare key." He said, grabbing another chair from behind the counter. I really questioned Jaehyo, it seemed like this breaking and entering was something he did every day as part of his routine.
"Not creepy or weird at all." I scoffed, trying to slurp back the bits of cereal that almost got out my mouth as I talked.
"Shut up and hurry." He whined, throwing a small towel at me. "We gotta get to work." He ushered, stealing a spoonful of my fruit loops.
"We?" I asked, snatching back my bowl and spoon as I eyed him like he killed my non existent pet cat.
"Yes we. I wanted to catch up with Jimin, so he invited me over." He shrugged. "What's your excuse Aerin?" He laughed, wiggling his eyebrows at me.
"I'll end you." I shot, punching his arm.
"Ok, ok. I'll stop." He cried, still laughing at his little joke.
~
"Hurry up." Jaehyo whined for like the tenth time now.
"I'm coming." I said, rushing out the house with my bag, shoes and purse in my arms. I threw it all into Jaehyo's car, putting my shoes on and then placing my purse into my bag as I finally settled down. "Ok let's go." I chimed.
"Eager to see your man huh?" Jaehyo's smirked.
"You seem to have become very confident with this topic and my temper." I warned him.
