One day he accidentally stood on my sandwich

I furrowed my eyebrows, staring blankly at the shrub behind the car. I'm sure I heard a noise. It could've just been a cat or something, but something just didn't feel right about it. I felt like I heard noises before we even left the house but maybe it's all in my head. I heard another rustle, "Did you hear that?" I popped, trying to see anything moving through the shrubs.

"Hear what?" Jimin hummed, following my eyes to the bushes.

I don't know why I was so irked by the sounds. I hate to say it but Chaeyeon got into my head, I can't help thinking she's behind it. I keep thinking she has someone following us or even just me. I was overthinking this, she can't work that fast can she? I can't let her get into my head, it was probably just the wind or something.

"I don't know, I thought I heard...never mind." I shrugged. If he didn't hear anything it was probably all in my head. If I ignore it I'll be fine. "Did you parents invite us over for dinner?" I popped, looking back at him.

"Yeah." He said quickly.

I frowned lightly at that. "But we already ate." I hummed. It wasn't that I didn't like the food or anything. But for the first time I was full, I had ate so much earlier today I don't even think I have space for dessert.

"I..I know, I told them that." He shot back. "But we've not seen them yet as a couple so I thought we should visit them for a bit."

"Ahh, okay." I nodded my head.

"I'm gonna park further down the driveway, but you can start to make your way in." He popped, leaning over to open the door for me.

I held my breath in, waiting for him to go back to his seat. "I can open doors by myself." I snapped, feeling myself become hot.

Jimin squinted his eyes and looked out through the front window of the car. "Isn't that you're aunt?" He popped, pointing at a lady patiently waiting at the front door step.

I leaned forward and groaned when I realised it was her."Ahh for fuck sake." I grumbled, pulling a sour face. "What is she doing here?" I mumbled under my breath.

"Should we go in together instead?" Jimin hummed lightly, placing his hand on mine.

I smiled at him softly. It made me feel glad that he was looking out for me, "No it's okay, don't worry about me." I popped, shaking my head. I got out the car and closed the door.

He ducked his head to look at me through the window. "I won't be long." He said, rolling the window up and driving off further into the driveway.

I clenched my hands into fists and took a deep breath. She couldn't do anything to hurt me or Somi anymore, but she still irked me. For now she was winning and she loved rubbing that in my face. I made my way to the front of the house. "What are you doing here?" I popped loudly.

"Oh Aerin!" She chimed, grinning at me. "Did you come alone? Where's Jimin?" She hummed innocently.

"He's parking the car." I mumbled, walking up the two steps leading to the front door. "You didn't answer my question." I snapped, looking back at her.

"What I can't have friends now?" She popped, frowning at me lightly before her lips curved into a devious smirk. "I seem to be growing on your mother-in-law quite a bit." She scoffed.

I rolled my eyes, whatever she was here for it wasn't my business. I was just glad she was on her way out now. God knows how I'd deal having her here at the same time we came to visit. "Whatever." I grumbled, walking away from her.

"Ahh Aerin, why are you so cold?" She cried back pouting at me.

I pursed my lips tightly, fighting the urge to curse at her. She was acting all innocent all of a sudden and it bugged me a lot. She knew exactly what she was doing and it was hard to get her back. "What do you want?" I shot back.
