"I can't believe you have all these books." I beamed, staring at the giant bookcase in his study in awe. It was like book heaven. I found it hard to take in that he would even have this, Jaehyo wasn't very interested in books, or so I thought.
"You know we have, like, six sports cars, a screening room, a pool and a tennis court, but you're impressed by this." He said in frustration, waving one of the cars' keys in his hand.
He had been begging me to go for a drive in the cars for the last hour, but I didn't budge from his study, creating a huge pile of books I wanted to read on his desk. "Clearly we have different taste." I hummed, satisfied with my book pile.
I turned around to Jaehyo smiling at his phone before quickly turning to me. "Dinner's ready, go get the door. I need to go pee. Okay, bye." He exclaimed, quickly running off.
I rolled my eyes, making my way to the door. I didn't care for his antics at this point, I was just really hungry I could eat anything. I lazily opened the door, not even realising what I welcomed. I looked up, my eyes going wide as I saw Jimin there with three bags of food in each hand.
Jimin groaned, realising it was me. "What-" His voice trialed off, he became quiet. His eyes drifting down, his face becoming red in the the matter of seconds. He shifted his gaze away from me, his eyes glued to the ground. "I got the food." He mumbled.
I furrowed my eyebrows at his highly weird behaviour. Usually he was super mean or obnoxious flirty, but that was only to annoy me, and it was never anything else. I followed his eyes, finally realising I was in nothing but a tank top and shorts.
I grew red, quickly covering my chest with my arms as I awkwardly walked away, leaving Jimin at the door. I cursed under my breath as I heard him walk in. I didn't know what I was expecting but every second with Jimin here made me feel terrible about the situation. At least he was useful for once and showed up with something important, like food.
"Oh cool, you're here!" Jaehyo popped, hugging bottles of soju to his chest. "I've got drinks." He smiled, placing them onto the table.
I glared at him. I wanted to smack the lights out of him. Jaehyo smirked back, mouthing 'What?', as he pretended to frown at me before happily, taking up space opposite Jimin.
I grumbled, slumping down next to Jimin, leaning as far away as I could from him. This was the worst. I definitely didn't expect to see Jimin here and I can't believe Jaehyo would do that to me after what happened today. I wonder how Jimin feels about me storming out on him, I don't even know what I think. I just did it in the moment.
"Whatever, I'm going to bed after."I huffed, grabbing the chicken and placing it into my bowl, angrily shoving the food into my mouth as I glared at Jaehyo who only smiled like an idiot and drank more than he ate.
"Honestly, if you said she was gonna be here, I wouldn't even show up." Jimin huffed, ripping back one of the lids of the beef, hogging it to himself.
"The doors right there, you can still leave." I shot back, waving my chopsticks to the door.
He rolled his eyes, stabbing his utensil into my chicken, stealing the biggest piece and popping it into his mouth. "I'll gladly leave with all the food I bought." He scoffed.
"Hey, there isn't much squid, wanna share?" Jaehyo popped, placing the squid into my dish. I can't believe he's acting so innocent after this devious scheme of his. I shook it off. Whatever. I'm eating, so I'm happy. I'll just ignore Jimin's dumb face.
I placed a piece of chicken into his bowl, smiling lightly. "Eat up." I hummed. I didn't appreciate him calling Jimin over just to annoy me, but what I did appreciate was that he helped me out. So he had immunity from my wrath for today.
