"Okay let me get this straight," Jaehyo hummed. He furrowed his eyebrows, focusing to try and take in everything I told him.

I placed some bread into the toaster and turned to him. "Please do," I grumbled. This was like the fifth time I explained it to him and he was still confused.

"Jimin asked you to marry him, not because he likes you, but because he's trying to keep away from a creepy girl?" He popped.

"Sure." I mumbled, rolling my eyes. He wasn't far off, but I couldn't be bothered to correct him. I grabbed the toast and placed them onto plates and brought it to the table.

"And you accepted because he's paying you big." Jaehyo added.

"Yup." I popped loudly, spreading out butter on my toast.

The tension in his face finally released, eventually a huge grin appeared on his face as he wiggled his eyebrows at me.

"What?" I shot, glaring at him.

"Not exactly how imagined it to happen, but at least it's happening." Jaehyo sang, poking my sides.

"Shut up." I snapped, smacking his head with some toast.

"Don't worry Aerin, even if Jimin asks me to be his best man, I'll tell him I'm already your maid of honour." He hummed, dusting off crumbs from his forehead before taking a bite of his toast.

"Why would I want that?" I scoffed.

"Because I would look great in a dress." He retorted.

"Whatever," I mumbled. "Somi's gonna be my maid of honour." I shot, sticking my tongue at him.

"Fair enough." He shrugged. "Why'd you wait this long to tell me?"

"It all happened so quickly, I only found out yesterday that we're getting engaged." I said, clearing up the table as much as I could as I waited for Jaehyo to finish eating. "Oh, and not a word of this to Jimin, you're technically not supposed to know all the details!" I warned.

"Hmm. It still seems so technical, like a formal contract." He hummed, leaning back in his seat as he stared at the ceiling.

"I'm being payed, so yeah it kinda is." I reminded him.

"And you don't mind?" He asked.

"Not really," I shrugged. "Plus, we made a deal to be nice to each other to make it more believable."

"Okay, what's really in it for you?" He mumbled.

I chuckled lightly. I knew he'd catch on eventually. This was much more than just the money. It was about Somi, my parents and getting back what is rightfully ours. I'm glad Jimin thought it was only for the money. The less he knew the better.

"Well?" He popped, impatiently.

"Well first, I've finally escaped my parents." I said.

Jaehyo nodded his head. I could tell he was still pissed about the whole situation from yesterday, not to mention everything they've ever done to me and Somi before.

"Then there's Somi." I added.

Jaehyo frowned slightly. "Did something happen to Somi noona?" He said softly.

"Whilst you were abroad, she got married to this absolute dickhead. She's okay with it, but I definitely am not." I huffed.

"Anything else?" He popped.

"I've not planned it yet, but I'm getting our house back." I said. "And everything else,"

"Nice." He smiled.
