Whitley Schnee's pov

Whitley walks down the halls after training, he's been here for months but still gets turned around. He finds their room and opens the door.

"I just don't know." Oscar starts then he sees Whitley at the door. "Oh hi Whitley." He smiles and Whitley looks at Ruby.

"Hey Ruby." He says walking in and setting his rapier down "Just came to put this back." He smiles and walks back out.

What did I do?

What doesn't he know?

I messed up

He probably likes her...

"Whitley wait!" Oscar grabs his wrist and stops. "I'm sorry- I just-- just."

Whitley smiles and shakes his head "It's okay. I just need a minute"

He gives Oscar a quick hug before he jogs off in the other direction and Oscar looks at his hand and slowly returns to Ruby.

Oscar Pine's pov

"What's up?" Ruby asks when Oscar walks back in.

"I don't know what to do." He says sitting down. "I care for him I really do but..."

"But you don't want to see them hurt." Ruby says sitting down next to him. "I know the feeling."

"So what do I do?" Oscar asks

"It's your call, personally I'd go after him and explain what you're feeling." Ruby says. She puts her hand on his knee and smiles "But I'm here if you still want to talk."

Oscar nods and wipes his eyes. "I'm going to give him a minute like he asked then see if I can talk to him." Ruby nods and Oscar takes a deep breath "What would I tell him though?"

Ruby smiles. "Exactly what you told me."

Whitley Schnee's pov

Whitley walks around the library looking for something good to read to keep his mind off of whatever Oscar and Ruby could've been talking about.

The door opens and a familiar sound of a lock makes Whitley turn around. "Oh sorry I thought you were someone else." Whitley says putting the book on the shelf.

"Yeah I'm sorry I guess I should've knocked or something." Oscar chuckles.

"It's okay." Whitley smiles

"Um I wanted to talk to you about that, but I want to make sure you're okay with it." Oscar says stepping in a bit more.

"Yeah, I've calmed down." He says sitting down in an armchair. "Sit down." He says patting the other chair.

Oscar smiles and sits down. "I just talked to Ruby for some advice." Whitley nods and sits back "She told me it was a good idea to tell you what I told her but i'm not so sure now."

Whitley shakes his head "It's okay, take your time."

Oscar nods and looks down at his feet. "Okay so basically.." He takes a deep breath and looks back up at Whitley. "I'm scared."

Whitley's face softens "Scared of what?"
"I just haven't felt this way about a boy before and the thought kind of scares me. But that's not the only thing. The main thing was I just don't want to hurt you."

"Oscar..."

"Look I'm going to be honest Winter told me some things and I really really like you Whitley but I just don't want to hurt you more." He looks back down and he starts to tear up. "I'm just confused. I want to be with you but I'm just scared that I can't give you everything you need-"

Whitley cuts Oscar off with a kiss. At first it catches him off guard and he flees a bit was self conscious, but then. He didn't care he smiles and Whitley pulls away just enough to see his face. "Oscar, you could never hurt me more." 

" I love you."

Oscar smiles and hugs him with tears in his eyes.
