Weiss wakes up before her team and grabs a blanket. Her head hurt from the day before and felt like doing something familiar. Music. She slides on her slippers and sees that Ruby is awake but just reading a book.

"Hey Weiss where are you off to?" She whispers

"Just to the music room."

"Can I come?" Ruby asks sitting up

"Sure." Ruby slides on her slippers and grabs her blanket. They walk down the hallways and go to the music room. Weiss opens the door and sees that the fireplace is still on, and her brother is with Oscar.

"Awww!"

"Ruby shhh, they're still asleep." Weiss hisses getting out from her blanket. She hands Ruby one end of it and they carefully place it over the two so they don't freeze. "You know it's funny, even though we've lived in Atlas our whole lives Whitley still hates the cold." Weiss whispers to Ruby

Ruby shakes her head "No way."

Weiss nods "Oh yeah it's quite funny. I never expected him to be out of his bed at night."

Ruby looks at her confused "And your not surprised by the fact that he's asleep like that with Oscar?"

Weiss shakes her head. "Nope we all knew he liked boys, except for dad but he never cared about us so there's that."

"Ah."

Weiss nods, "Alright let's go and get ready."

Ruby smiles "Okay!" Ruby starts to skip towards the door but stops when she realizes that Weiss isn't following her. She turns around and Weiss has her scroll out and on the camera. "Weiss your-"

Weiss takes the picture and the room flashes. "Shit!"

"-flash is on.."

Whitley and Oscar sit up and look around. They make eye contact with Ruby and Weiss. Weiss tries to put her scroll away in time but fails. "Give me the scroll." Whitley says.

Weiss shakes her head. "No!"

Whitley stands up and puts his hand up. "Give me the scroll or run."

Weiss looks at Ruby and then Whitley. Ruby nods and Weiss sprints out the door. Whitley rolls his eyes and bolts out after her.

Oscar stands up and folds up the blanket. "So how long did you see that?"

Ruby shrugs "Eh not that long."

"But long enough?"

"Oh definitely long enough." Ruby laughs "So you and Whitley huh?"

I knew this was coming, I called it and you didn't listen to me.

"Shut it Oz!" Oscar looks at the floor and back to Ruby "Yeah so Whitley and I. Ruby, is it weird to like someone who is the same gender as you? Like think they're cute or something. I've had crushes on girls before but I'm not sure if it's normal to feel the same for a boy."

"Oh yeah."

Oscar looks at her surprised. "You sound so sure?"

Ruby smiles "Because I am sure Oscar. It's completely normal you can't change the way you feel. Ren loves Nora and Nora feels the same way for Ren. That's also what's going on with Blake and Yang, even though they won't admit it. People will have a problem with it but that's because they're scared. They are scared because people are like that they are different and change can be scary."

"Have you felt that way about someone?" Oscar asks

"Yep, I feel the same way about Weiss, I care for her more than a friend should. Don't worry Oscar it'll all work out in the end." Ruby smiles and pulls Oscar in a hug. "Love you kid."

Oscar smiles and let's go. "You my friend are starting to sound like Qrow."

Ruby laughs and mimics him "And You my friend are starting to sound like Ozpin." Ruby gives him another hug and Weiss runs in and jumps over the piano.

"Give me your scroll!" Whitley yells moving from side to side.

"No." Weiss says.

Ruby lets go and laughs at the two running around the piano.

Whitley jumps over the piano catching Weiss off guard. He grabs it and goes to delete it but misclicks and it sends to himself and Oscar.

"Wait!"

Weiss bursts out laughing and Oscar pulls out his scroll and looks at the picture. "Aw, it's kind of cute!"

Whitley rolls his eyes "Not you too." he groans. "Fine, let's get ready for the day."

Oscar starts laughing and won't budge Whitley rolls his eyes and shakes his head "You know what-" He walks over to Oscar and picks him up and tosses him over his shoulder. "We're going to get ready for the day or you will get sick in those pajamas." Ruby laughs and looks over at Weiss who just shakes her head with a sly smile on her face
