16. Daddy's Dead.

Season 3 Episode 9: Homecoming

Lilith and Klaus were in Portland in the woods. Klaus wanted to explore his werewolf side and explore he did while Lilith watched. The two were currently in the middle of a passionate moment when Klaus' phone began to ring. Lilith saw that it was Stefan and she groaned.

"Well, answer it, my love." Lilith gasped out as Klaus kissed the spot on her neck that always made her see stars.

"But this is so much more fun." Klaus replied with a grin before continuing his ministrations.

The phone continued to ring.

"Answer the phone so it stops buzzing and we can continue uninterrupted." Lilith's said as she lifted Klaus' head. He hesitated, pressing one last kiss to Lilith's red lips, before he answered his phone.

"Portland is fantastic. Once you get over all the whiny music and healthy looking people, it is literally a breeding ground for werewolves." Klaus said, joyfully, as he answered the call.

"Your father is dead." Stefan said and Lilith and Klaus both froze.

"What did you say to me?" Klaus growled. Lilith messed with his necklaces to clam him down.

"Oh, my mistake. Not your actual father and not dead. Mikael. Daggered. What do you want me to do with the body?" Lilith looked at Klaus with wide eyes.

"Well, first I want you to explain to me exactly what happened." Stefan started talking and when he finished Klaus spork once more. "I wanna see him. I want to see his rotting body for myself."

"Well, he is here. Come by whenever." Lilith narrowed her eyes, something seemed off.

"If you are lying to me Stefan, your compulsion will expose you. So, answer with your life: Is what you are saying the truth?"

"It's true. I saw it with my own eyes."

"I wanna talk to Rebekah."

"That's not a problem. She is right here." Stefan hands over the phone to Rebekah.

"Hello, Nik." Rebekah greets.

"Rebekah, love. What's this I hear about Mikael's tragic run in with the dagger?"

"It's true. He's finally out of our lives for good. I miss you. I'm miserable here."

"I'll be home soon." Klaus promises.

"Good. I'll see you then, brother. Is Lilith with you?"

"Always." Klaus says and hangs up. "Looks like we're going back." Lilith nods and they start making their way back.

Lilith and Klaus walked around the Lockwood mansion, listening to all the high schoolers party. Klaus had an arm around her waist but Lilith was tense. "You need to relax, Love." Klaus said quietly to Lilith.

"I can't. Something isn't sitting right with me." Lilith told Klaus as she looked around. Lilith knew she was being paranoid but when it cane to Mikael she was always paranoid. She almost lost Klaus to him once she was not going to do it again.
