My eyes wandered around the dark room, my body aching and feeling heavy as pain coursed through all over. I shakily inhaled, trying to remember what remember.
"Get her!"
I coughed out blood, my stomach felt bruised and I could tell I had broken ribs. Was I beaten? What happened... to my keys?
I felt too dizzy to remember anything. My head was spinning and pain was aching all over my body. Where am I? How did I end up here?
Images started to flash back my mind. From when Natsu appeared, the conflicts, when he left, and then J decided to come to Fairy Tail... and then the mysterious group who attacked me. I was outnumbered, and realizing that, I decided to save my spirits by sending my keys to the spirit world.
"Aha! Seems like you're awake now!" A chirpy, feminine voice broke the silence and my eyes turned to its source.
There, a woman stood. It was too dark to make out her features, but from the figure and her voice, I could tell she was a girl.
"W-Who are you?" I choked out. Chains creaked as I tried to move my arms, which was tied up to the ceiling with my wrists.
"It's better if you don't move, you know?" She giggled, taking steps closer until I was able to see her clearer. She had soft features, her hair was curly and seemed to be brown or black. Her face... looked familiar. "I can't wait to tear off your limbs!" She added with a sick laugh.
"What do you want?" I tried to stay calm despite the pain running through every nerves of my body.
The girl placed a finger on her chin, humming as she pretended to think. "I wonder... what do I want with the precious Lucy Heartfilia that everyone seems to love?"
"Your keys?"
I screamed in pain as I felt her fist slam against my stomach, blood and saliva coughing out from my mouth as tears formed at the corner of my eyes from the pain. My body swung backwards like a punching bag, reminding me of the time I was tied up in the same way by the creepy weirdo we met a year ago.
"Nu uh. That's not all. What else, do you think?" She smiled sickly, her eyes widening as she inched her face close to mine. "Can you guess? Can you?"
My eyes was just starting to adjust to the darkness when she slapped my face, at the same time grabbing my hair harshly towards her.
"Revenge, maybe?" I felt her disgusting tongue run across my cheeks before she moved away, laughing hysterically.
"No, that's not it either." Something glinted that she took out from her pocket, and I could already tell it was a knife.
"I just... want to mess with you!" Raising her hand with the sharp object pointed towards me, I took a sharp breath and shut my eyes in fear.
"That's enough." A deep, somewhat familiar voice echoed, silence following.
That voice... from the shore. That hooded man with the staff.
I slowly opened my eyes, gulping at the sight of the knife a few centimeters away from my eye. The girl stopped moving, her eyes wide and anger was visible as she looked at the man who had just appeared.
"Who do you think you are to interrupt me?!" She shrieked, swiftly throwing the knife towards the hooded man. Which he easily dodged.
"Sorry about my daughter, she's been messed up since her brother died." He stated, slowly walking towards me.
His presence was too heavy... and it felt more dangerous than the girl's. She glared at him, but was unable to do anything as if she was scared at the same time.
