Chapter 21

Dustins POV.

My wolf had warned me that Michelle had a mate. That Alex dude. I really didn't care though. Its not like I was planning on stealing his girl. Michelle was shorter than me. She came to my elbows. She had dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, full pink lips. She looked so adorable. Michelle was different... something about her reminded me of-

"Com'n." Michelle said tugging on my hand as she walked through her houses front door. Alex's sent caught my nose. It was fresh. I didn't feel to worried because I knew I could take him. Id probably take awhile to heal though... he is an alpha and I am a half breed.

"Well this is it." She said slowly. it was a lot to take in... the house was huge! Bigger than I thought actually.

"I'm in love with you're house." She chuckled. I heard the upstairs floor boards squeak. So he really is here... Michelle nervously glanced at the stairs.

"Alex here?" I ask already knowing the answer.

"I think so.... its funny how I left for thirty minutes after sitting here all day to only come home to find him here..." she murmured half to herself and half to me.

"Michelle?" Alex called from upstairs.

"Yeah?"

"Serenas here.... I see you've brought someone too." He hisses. Michelle stays silent. She holds a finger to her lips.

"Shh." She tip-toes outside motioning for me to follow her. When we are outside she said,"He's pissed. I don't want a fight to break out. Wanna go somewhere else?" She asks. As I nod we both start to walk side by side to downtown.

'Well her boyfriend seems a bit-'

'Psycho?' I ask cutting off my wolf, Chris.

'Yeah perhaps a bit. Hey do you notice the strange sent Michelle carries??'

'Erm yeah she smells so firmilar. She smells like-'

'No I mean she carries another sent..... she's pregnant Dustin.'

'What??!'

'I can't believe you havnt noticed ..... but yeah p-r-e-g-n-a-n-t.'

'That doesn't change anything....' I murmured to chris as I reached for Michelles chilled fingers.

"Your so cold." I say to Michelle. I hold both of her small hands in my large ones and blow on her icey cold fingers.

'She's not our mate either... don't pretend for one second that she is casey.' Chris hisses.

'Shut up. She doesn't look or remind me of casey at all. I'm not pretending she's casey.'

My mate casey had died a couple of years ago.... she was murdered by rogues.. Me and her weren't too close though... I had only met her four days before her death. I still missed her either way.

Michelles POV.

Me and Dustin walked hand in hand. Well my hands were in his hands I wasn't holding his hands at all. The only reason I let him hold my hands was because I was freezing cold and he was just so warm.

'I think my son might have stronger feelings for you than you may realize.' Jenelle murmured. I barley heard her though because Dustin was saying something I couldn't quite comprehend.

"Sorry what was that?" I ask him. His face turns red.

"Oh erm nothing. Sorry thinking outloud."

"Your a shifter right?" I ask not even thinking about what I just asked.

"Erm yeah... how'd you know?? I carry a humans sent because I'm a half breed."

"I'm the super alpha." I say slowly.

"Oh shit that's you? I never would've guessed. I knew there was something special about you... well besides the fact that your beautiful " He said smiling. I blushed.

"Oh erm thanks.... " I half mumbled half said. He chuckled.

'Your lucky alex didn't hear that.... he'd rip Dustins head off.'

'True.'

"Hey there's this place I wanted to show you." Dustin said with a gleam in his eyes.

"Wher-"

"Its a suprise."

"Okaaaayyy."

Alex's POV.

Kaleb was in full control right now..... I didn't care anymore. My mate was with another guy..... I was furious

As soon as I find them I will kill destin.

'Its dustin. Not destin.' Kaleb corrected.

'I don't care.' I snapped back. All I saw was red... literally. I'm pissed. I wanted to rip michelle away from that... that half breed mut. Stripping down into my boxers I ran outside and shifted into a wolf. Time to find Michelle. I silently thought as I ran in the forest.

My wolf instincts took over. I breathed slowly as I ran at wolf speed through the forest trying to keep up with michelles sent. A couple of strange rogue sents were in the area but I ignored them. The only thing I cared about was taking Michelle back. MY mate NOT his! I sniffed the air. It would be snowing soon.... I better hurry or else the snow will completely cover her sent.

'Michelle?' I ask trying to use the mate mind link.

'Yeah?'

'Where are you??!!' I ask letting some of the rage seep into my voice.

'Relax I'm just hanging out with Dustin at this frozen pond a mile north away from home. You should come.'

'Like hell I am!'

'Calm down I'm not doing anything wrong!'

'Your with another guy...... yeah that's not wrong at all.... he's not even your mate!!'

'He's just my friend! I thought I was atleast alowd to have friends......' I stayef silent after that. Yeah she's alowf to have friends..... just not ones that want to be more than friends. If only she saw the way he looked at her.... maybe she'd see my reason for being pissed. A part of me longed to have Michelle close to me... Especially now that she had that monster in her I didn't have much time left to convince her to kill it before it kills her.

Five minutes later I reached the frozen pond michelle was talking about. Sure enough there she was with Dustin... they were ice skating. I could tell she was trying to keep her distance from him. I shifted back into human form and put on my jeans and a t-shirt. Barefoot I walked towards the ice.

"Alex! Why are you barefoot and only wearing jeans and a short sleeved tee??" Michelle asked. I was still pissed. Ignoring her I walked over to Dustin and punched him right in the jaw.
