chapter 10

Michelles POV.

(Three days later)

I awoke from the darkness. Were am I?? What happend?all I remember is the pain. Yes the horrible pain and then...... nothing. It was like I took a break from reality. Slowly turning my head I see alex asleep in a small chair looking very uncomfortable. On my left I see marcus asleep on a chair too.

"Alex...... marcus...." I whisper. My voice is hoarse and my throat hurts. Alex's head snaps up while marcus stays asleep.

"Michelle!" Alex breathes obviously relieved.

"Wha-what happend?" I ask softly.

"You were shifting and to speed up the process I snapped your spine so it could heal completely...... you died in the end for five minutes."

"I remember now." Alex strokes my hair gently.

"I'm sorry."

"Why? You didn't do anything wrong." I murmur.

"But you.... died..." he said letting his voice trail off.

"I'm alive now arnt I? That's not the point weather I died or not. I'm fine."

"Your in the pack doctors house because of me and marcus." Alex growls. His eyes flash red.

"Shhh calm down. I don't blame either of you." I sit up ans wince at the pain. I stretched out mr sore arms and legs.

"I'll kill marcus for biting you...." alex growled.

'What? No!! He can't kill marcus!!' My wolf howled in my head.

"Jenelle...." I murmured. Alex's head snapped up. He chuckled.

"Jenelle disagrees doesnt she?" I nod.

"Untill I mark you as mine she will still feel the special bond between her and marcus... I'll mark you when I know your ready." I nod slowly. I thought I already was ready? Maybe he means I'm not ready because of my injuries at the moment.

'I wish marcus would mark us as his luna.....' my wolf sighed.

'What about alex?!?' I asked horrified.

'Of course I love alex but marcus shares a special bond with us. He turned us into a wolf in the first place.'

'I love alex.' I said stubbornly. She stayed silent.

"Michelle?" Alex said snapping me out of my mini battle with me and my wolf.

"Hm?" I replied.

"What's she saying?" He asks.

"That she and marc-"

'Both of us not just me.' She said cutting me off.

"Okay that we have a special bond with marcus..... I don't feel it though.... I feel the one between us."

"You feel the bond with marcus too.... don't deny it." He said with his head down.

"No-"

"Don't lie..." he said cutting me off.

"Yes. I do feel it.... but that's only because he bit me making the bond...." I mumbled.

"Michelle...."

"Stop okay. Lets not talk about this now.... I love you and that's all that matters." He smiled.

"I love you too baby... your right. Is there anything you need? Hungry? Thirsty?"

"I'm fine."

"She's awake? Why didn't you wake me I could have helped her too." Marcus says sleepily obviously half asleep still.

"I'm fine." I repeated. Alex's eyes went hard.

"What's it to you? You were mr. Sleeping beauty a couple of seconds ago." Alex growls.

"Yeah I was asleep.... after staying up all night making sure she was safe!"

"Enough okay! Me and michelle are both fine! The last thing we need is you two fighting." Jenelle said taking okver.

'How did you do that??' I ask her.

'You let your gaurd down so I seized the moment and got these two morons to shut up.' They stayed silent. The tension in the room could be sliced in half with a knife. Yep it was that bad....

"I'm sorry..." alex mumbled.

"Me too." Said right after alex. Warmth spead over my skin like a wildfire.

"Its getting hot in here....." I murmured.

"Huh what are you talking about? Its not hot." It felt like flames were licking at my skin. I jumped up alarmed by the sudden temperature change.

"Michelle are you okay??" Marcus asked worriedly. I shake my head vigorously. It kept getting hotter. Moaning in pain I sunk to the floor.

"Michelle!" Alex shouted.

"She's making her first shift!" Marcus chimed in.

"I thought I already sgifted." I managed to gasp out. It truly felt like I was on fire now. I screamed in pain. My skin rippled.

'What the hell is happening!!"

'I'm shifting... you will be okay I promise... I have to make a shift at some point.' Jenelle huffs. Silver fur grew and soon I was a wolf. I stared at my huge paws.

"She is the super alpha..." alex gasped.

"Yeah didn't you believe me before??" Marcus asks.

"Well yeah but I guess a part of me didn't believe it.... look at her brilliant alpha blue eyes.... rare. I havnt seen them since alpha patterson passed away."

"AAAAAAOOOOOHHHHHH!!" I howled letting it echo through the house.

'Lets get out of here and take a short run in thr forest..... I havnt been able to stretch my legs in awhile.' I stayed silent as I leaped over the boys head out the doorway. The world was different and clearer through these eyes.... running outside I passed by a very suprised young wolf. Running faster I headed towards the woods making sure I out-ran any curious followers.

'I havnt been able to get fresh air in so long.' Jenelle sighed happily. My head snaps up as I smell/hear another strange wolf.

"Hey...." I reconize the voice through the pack link.....
