His fingers danced delicately along with the yellowed ivory keys of the Asylum's piano, creating a haunting melody that sends chills down both survivors' and hunter's back.

The melody floated down the silent halls of the Asylum, drawing the attention of a hunter that had been on the hunt for one of the four survivors. Brandishing your weapon, you made your way towards the church near one of the exit gates. Your eyebrow was raised in curiosity as you stepped in time with the melody.

"The piano is a lot more lively today. I wonder who tickled its fancy." You hummed to yourself. Just stopping short at the entrance, you peeked into the room to see a dark grey-haired man dressed in a pair of black pants and matching black closed jacket. Your eyes quickly flew to the man's face. The bottom half of his face is covered by a medical mask while his eyes were closed in deep concentration.

Nothing but questions fill your mind. Who was this man? Couldn't he feel his heart racing with how close you were?... Where was the bloodlust you usually felt when hunting?

Not wanting to interrupt, you walked silently into the room and took a seat on one of the dusty pews. The more you listened to the melody, the more you felt lost in it. The ciphers were popping in the background, but you remained where you were with your eyes closed and a relaxed smile on your lips.

Right as the last cipher popped, the man's eyes slowly opened. It felt like he had been in a deep slumber. Suddenly, his eyes flew wide open in shock and let out a startled yelp when the fallboard and rim of the piano slammed down; Narrowly missing his fingers.

The sudden slam startled you too as you got up on your feet, your hand gripping your weapon tightly. The man's frightened eyes turned to look at you, his body now rigid in fear. "Why didn't I notice sooner..." he thought to himself, now aware of how hard his heart was thudding against his chest.

His eyes could not get any wider in fear. But from where you stood, you could see that his eyes were a beautiful shade of grey. This entire man was monotonous in color. "Now, now, there's no need to be afraid." You said in a calm tone as you set your weapon down on the pew. His eyes following your every movement.

"I won't hurt the man that has entertained me this entire match," You made your way towards him slowly, your calm smile remaining on your lips. "Might I know your name?"

Still wary, he stood up from the chair and picked up a grey case, keeping it close to him, "Aesop Carl." You looked away from him to focus on a corner of the room, knowing your stare was making him uncomfortable.

"Aesop... Aesop, quite a nice name." You liked how his name rolled off your tongue. "My name is (Y/n), a pleasure to meet you." The other survivors had all escaped at this point, but that was the least of your worries. Resting your gaze back on him, you walked towards him and reached a hand out to him.

Though he mistook it for something else and quickly backed away from you, going around the piano; Using it as a small blockade. "I see, you still don't trust me." You let your hand fall back to your side. What could you do to gain his trust?

Your eyes lit up in realization when you remembered that the exit gate was just a few meters away. "No point in wasting any more of our time then. Come, Aesop." You strode back to the pew to collect your weapon before gesturing for Aesop to follow you.

Afraid of what you would do to him if he dashed for it, he breathed out a sigh of defeat and followed you out of the room. When he realized where you were leading him, he grew even more suspicious. Just what were you planning?

Standing just a few meters away from you, he glanced at you. "Why are you letting me go?" He voiced out his thoughts. The exit gate was wide open, waiting for its last survivor to run through before it slams shut again, awaiting its next survivors.

"What? I can't be a nice hunter?~" You teased him, a hand resting on your hip. "I enjoyed that little performance you held in the church room. It'd be a shame if I never hear it again, so I'd like to ask a small favor of you in exchange for letting you go free." Aesop's curious glance turned into a glare at your words. Now he owes you?

You ignored his glare though as you flashed him a cheeky smile, "All I ask is for you to meet me in the library every Friday night," Your smile couldn't get any wider when you thought of a nickname for him, "Can you do that, Little Aesop?"

"Stop right there. Don't say anymore." He raised his hand to silence you. Without saying anything or answering your question, he walked towards the open gate and headed back to the Oletus Manor.

"Hmm~ he's an interesting man. I hope I see him in the library tomorrow then."

(I'm sorry for the long hiatus >~< I hope everyone is having a great year so far! I got a job! So... it's definitely taking up a margin of my time! Anyways, this is just a small idea I had. I'm sorry if it seems weird!)
