An Active Night

Third Person P.O.V

(Y/N) sat in a chair at a desk looking over work. She rubbed the back of her neck and sat up straight hearing a robotic voice speak to her. "Two of your students are out past curfew Phaser! They're out at Ground Beta!". She looks over at the intercom and stood up "Geez who could be up at this hour..and there of all places to top it off.." she muttered lowly and stepped away from her desk heading out of the door. She stopped holding the door open seeing Aizawa and Toshinori "Hm? Did you two get the message as well?" she asked them looking a bit surprised. Aizawa nods "Yeah i was gonna go check it out. You can head to bed i'll deal with them.". Toshinori held up his hands "No i'll go check it out I'm sure you two would like to relax and rest. With all the work as a teacher and extra from hero duties when was the last time you two got to relax together" he chuckled then walked towards the area. Aizawa sighs "He's right but i still want to know who it is out plus they aren't getting out of trouble that easily.." he huffed turning to  (Y/N). She nods "I am curious too although i have a feeling on who it might be..try not to be too harsh on punishment.." she smiles at him. "I won't make you any promises.." Aizawa let out a low chuckle. He set his hand on her shoulder looking at her with a soft calming look in his eyes "But seriously go rest, you've been working nonstop since you've recovered from the camp incident". Before (Y/N) could respond Aizawa cut her off. "I know you're just worried and want to take them down before they can strike again but you won't be any good all half asleep zombie like in and out of the class. I thought it was my job to look tired as hell" he smiles slightly at her. (Y/N) smiles back "You're right. I'm sorry for being so dead set but that feeling, it's not something i can just shake off. I know i must look crazy tearing through file after file but something keeps screaming to look deeper than i already am.." she sighs. Aizawa frowned slightly and leaned down kissing her cheek hugging her close "Please just rest. I'll make time to help you and try to understand what you're feeling.." he rubbed her back. (Y/N) nods "That would be great, I'll head to bed. I expect to see you there too.." she giggled then walks back inside. 

As soon as she got to the room and looked at the bed she tried to clear her mind and relax. She sighs and laid on the bed throwing her arm over her eyes thinking. 'Maybe I'm overthinking?...But..that smile..that glint in his eyes...why did it seem familiar..'. She closed her eyes trying to relax and fall asleep. She turned over onto her side gripping onto the pillow under her head. 'Maybe i should make a phone call to...but he's working on the Shie Hassaikai case. I'll just be wasting his time if there really isn't a connection.' She gripped the pillow tightly as her mind filled with more thoughts, she didn't noticed Aizawa walk in.  Aizawa looks at her and walks over to the bed quietly. He sat on his side of the bed and looks down at her as he laid down. (Y/N) let go of the pillow and opened her eyes about to turn around to face him but stopped once she felt his arms wrap around her. Aizawa held her close to him and looks at her "Just go to sleep, there's nothing to worry about right now so just rest. You've done enough for now" he kissed her cheek. (Y/N) relaxed against him and sighs "You're right..sorry Shouta.." she mumbled lowly closing her eyes. 'Maybe i should just enjoy this time i have Shouta and relax. With him i can just take my mind off of it..' . She smiles. Aizawa looks down at her and sighs lowly closing his eyes trying to relax. 'Tch, I'm telling her to take her mind off of everything and not to worry but here i am worry about a couple of stubborn brats..'

Earlier {Before Aizawa walks into the bedroom}

Aizawa sighs muttering to himself as he walks out of the room that Bakugou and Izuku were sitting in. He stepped into the hall ready to turn down the hall to head to bed hoping to finally relax but something stopped him catching his attention. "Hm?.." He raised an eyebrow and walks over putting his hand out onto the person's shoulder seeing them instantly turn around once they caught sight of Aizawa. "Laura?.." he spoke in a low tone looking down at her "What are you doing up?". Laura gulped slightly and looks at him smiling "H-Hey Mr.Aizawa, i just came to grab a small bandaid and maybe an ice pack. Now I know what you're thinking but no i swear i wasn't part of whatever happened between those two. I woke up from a small nightmare and slipped out of bed bumping my head" she rubbed her forehead. Aizawa looks at her narrowing his eyes slightly "uh-huh then why do you need the bandaid?". "O-oh i got a small scrape too.." she looks down at her feet. "Must have been one nasty fall.." Aizawa crossed his arms "that nightmare must have really spooked you..". Laura slowly nods "uh-huh...yeah.." she looks back up at him. Aizawa's harsh gaze softened slightly seeing slightly red puffy eyes, "hm.." he stepped closer to her and pat her head. Laura blinked in surprise. "Hurry up and head back to bed before i give you the same punishment as those two in there." Aizawa stepped past her. "H-Huh?.." Laura tilted her head "I'm not in trouble?..". Aizawa stopped in his tracks and looks at her over his shoulder "You want cleaning duty?..". "No!" Laura said quickly. Aizawa let out a low chuckle "Then move it before i change my mind". "Yes sir!" she bowed. "Silently..". "Right I'm sorry"

Present {bedroom; Aizawa & (Y/N)}

Aizawa looks at (Y/N) then closed his eyes. 'Neither of you need to worry, I'm here to protect you both..'

{Laura's Dorm Room}

Laura held the icepack in her hand and shut her dorm room door silently. She sighs and pressed her back against the door pressing the ice pack against her forehead. She looks at her phone seeing it flash on showing a text. She walks over to it kicking a few stray pieces of broken crystal under her bed. The text read:   

From: Sleep deprived cat boy; Get some sleep and relax before i use my quirk to make you take a nap during lunch tomorrow. I swear that Monoma from 1B would get a kick out of 1A student falling asleep in class and I'm sure your mom just wants to deal with one person falling asleep in class..

She smiles slightly looking down at the message then sat down on her bed. She laid on the bed and sighs thinking to herself. 'I need to get stronger...how can i make up for my failures and help protect her if i keep loosing. I need to get stronger to beat him and to go back and save..save..' she started to drift off to sleep curling up on her bed loosing track of her thoughts. 'Man I'm so exhausted..'

// Hey there all who are reading! I know i disappeared yet again but my first semester is finally wrapping up so i had time to finish this chapter. I meant to post this earlier but it had been deleted before anything saved. Plus i was doing some heavy thinking while going through some comments on this story. It really warms my heart that a lot of you enjoy this story. You really do bring a big smile to this anxious nerd's face when you leave a comment on either a character i made or the story itself.

Thank you all so much! I have been working on this story for about 5 years so i think as a way to celebrate, would you guys want to do a Q and A. It can be on any of the characters, the question can be for the character or simply a question for me. Along with previous requests i think this would be fun to do and would help me see what i can work on more.
