Reana

"Umm, don't you think we're a little bit underdressed?" I asked Phil as I stepped out of the car (he's still holding the door for me, by the way).

He smiled, "Are we?"
I shot him a look, "Phil, look at those people inside. And look what we're wearing. Why did you choose this place? I heard the food here is overpriced. I bet it's not even that good."
"My mom owns this restaurant."

I was stunned.

Oh my god. Way to blow up your first date with Phil, Reana.

"O-Oh. I'm sorry, I didn't mean-"
"No, it's okay. Please don't apologize. I think it's a bit overpriced too. But trust me, you'll be satisfied with the food," he says. I don't like this. I don't like Phil being so nice to me.

If he keeps doing that, I might fall in love with him. Kidding! Why would I? He's hurt a lot of people in school. I hate that he's such a bully. He sent countless kids to hospital in less than a year. He doesn't deserve love. He needs to be punished.

A waitress ushered us to our table.

I have mastered the dining etiquettes but Phil speaking in French (he's telling our order) makes me want to stick my mouth down his throat and rip his clothes off. He smiles, "I'd appreciate it if you won't tell anyone I speak French."

I arched my brow, "Why?"
He grimaced, "You know why. It's stupid."
"No, it's not. It's actually impressive that you can speak other language." I mean, look at me, the only language I know besides English is Spanish and it is because we're required to learn it.
Phil leans a little closer, "So you think it's hot?"
I tease him a little, "French is one of the sexiest language, you know," I said, never leaving my eyes off him, never showing any signs of hesitation. I smirked, "I bet you can score lots of girls with just that."
He grins, "Yes. Well, not all of them." He takes my hand, "I'm still waiting for the girl I like." He stares at me intently, waiting for an answer.

Slowly, gently, he touched my cheek. I look deep into his eyes, searching for something unpleasant- lust, danger, menace - anything that can make me forget the thought of kissing him. But I found none.

"Do you want to get out of here?" He asks, his voice low. He looks shy, and I think he's blushing too. Maybe, just maybe, I can stop pretending to like him just for this night and just enjoy whatever happens next.

"Where are we going?" We're holding hands now. It's kind of nice. His hands are big and rough. I like it. We're walking to the car. "Before I answer that, let me ask you something first. Did you like the food?" Phil asks.
I smiled, "Yeah, I did."
"Good," he smiles too. "I told my mom to tell the chefs to be give their best tonight because I have a girl to impress," he winks.
I laughed, "Oh that's why. My mouth literally had an orgasm every time I take a bite at my food." He joins in and we stop in front of his car. He's still holding my hand when he tucks a stray hair behind my ear. "Where do you want to go?" He asks.
I looked into his eyes, for some reason I cannot tear my eyes off his ever since he entered our fucking house a while ago. I don't know, it just looks pretty in the moonlight. "That's what I asked you a moment ago," I whispered. He pulled me closer to him, "Well, I already chose the first destination, you choose next." I can feel his breath at this distance. Our lips are only inches apart that if I tiptoed a little, I could kiss him now. Instead, I brushed my nose against his and said, "I would like to have some dessert."

He furrows his brows, "by 'dessert', do you mean sex or something sweet? Because I'm okay with both," he chuckles as he wraps his arms around my waist.
I smiled and was about to answer but he lowers his head and his lips met mine.
