"Moonlight!" Toothless roared us panicked behind, but he couldn't do anything.

Grimmels weight on my back was foreign to me and with pleasure I would have shaken him off. But I couldn't defend myself and had to obey Grimmel. He steered me so hard round curves, that I clenched the teeth. As long, as I carried the muzzle with the numbing poison, I was powerless.

Thus we flew some minutes, until I perceived Hiccup's voice behind myself.
Apparently he flew on Toothless behind us. Grimmel saw briefly back and drove me to fly even faster. Besides, I already flew in maximum speed.

All at once Grimmel steered me sharply to the left and a plasma blast hit my wing. Pain-fully I pressed the eyes together and heard Toothless behind me shout "I'm sorry, Moonlight!"

I could hear the fight roar of the Deathgrippers, who wanted to keep apparently Toothless and Hiccup from pursuing Grimmel and me and prayed internally, that my Mate and his rider would get to shake them off. "How do we get him from her back, without hurting her?" I heard Hiccup saying. And then "Ah, we got problems!" What I would have given to be able to help them!

After some minutes I suddenly saw Hiccup with Toothless like out of nowhere fly to us. Surprised I squinted aside. And really! The Deathgrippers fell lifelessly in the sea. Obvious Toothless was able to kill them with his flash forces. Big relief fulfilled me. Now I concentrated my attention again to my Mate and Hiccup. The Viking roared absolutely determined and pushed off from Toothless' back. Grimmel shot fast a poisoned arrow in his direction. Though Hiccup made way to him, he hit Toothless, who roared startled and fell in the depth.

There Hiccup pushed Grimmel of my back. Nevertheless, this held on his leg and would have nearly carried away Hiccup. In the last second he held on in my muzzle.

"You kill both of us!" hissed Grimmel. "Fighting over a dragon, that's your plan?"
"This is..." stammered Hiccup. With a look at Toothless he pulled me the muzzle of the head. My pupils grew and I could see clearly again. I was free! Thankfully I looked at Hiccup, who hung on my neck. "Save him" he said, before he dropped himself with Grimmel.

Startled I saw to him behind and roared "Hiccup!". However, the look in his eyes repeated his words and therefore I flew behind Toothless.

The wind took tears in my eyes, I was so quick. If my Mate fell now in the sea, he would set and drown! The panic knotted to me the throat. In the last second I packed the Night Fury and dropped myself with him in the grass of Newberk. There we made several estimates and remained lying in the grass.

My head roared and my whole body knocked before pains. Still, I scrambled to my feet, ran to the cliff and flew after Hiccup. When he saw me, he loosened his leg, which Grimmel was holding onto. "Noooooooo!" cried Grimmel, before he plunged into the sea and thus to his death.

At the last moment I grabbed Hiccup and opened my wings. I turned my head to him and asked "Are you alright?" He looked at me grinning and said "See? I know, you'd come round."

"Yeah," I said with a laugh, flew up to the island with him, dropped him on the grass and finally landed breathless on the edge of the cliff.
