The Vikings were so busy with the fire, that they didn't even notice my Mate. This now shot down the abyss behind Hiccup.

A few seconds later he reappeared, holding the artificial dragon with him. I breathed a sigh of relief. Toothless safely settled Hiccup on the stage, which had since been cleared, and happily hugged him. Then the man, who played Stoick addressed him a few words and then held out his hand. Apparently he thought it was Hiccup. It was the same gesture as on the ship two years ago. The kids continued to chase the scene.
Toothless smiled up to us, before he bowed his head and gently touched the man's hand with his nose.

Now the audience applauded enthusiastically. Whistles could be heard and in the hustle and bustle nobody noticed, how my Mate slowly disappeared from the stage. Except the girl. Hiccup's daughter ran after him enthusiastically. That was clearly the time, when we should go. "Children, come on, it's time to go." I said and rose into the air. The three grumbled a little, but followed me.

We flew around the crowd and reached Toothless. He was keeping eye contact with the girl, whose mouth was open in amazement. "Are you coming?" I asked. My Mate looked from Hiccup, who was lying on the floor, to the girl. "See you soon." he grumbled gently. Then he took off and together we disappeared into the fog.

"Dad, it was great, how you saved Hiccup!" Dart said enthusiastically. "Well, he is my best friend. Of course I had to help him." he said.

"So, let's go home now, it's very late." I finally said. "I just want to show you something, before we leave the island." meant Toothless. I nodded and we followed him to a big house. "This is Hiccup's house," he said. "Look, he even provided fish for me. He didn't forget me!" he murmured. "Of course he didn't forget you," I laughed as we split the fish between us all.

Then my Mate went to a closet and put a green crystal in there. "I took a second one from the Alpha Rock." he explained. "I would like to leave it to Hiccup."
Of course I agreed. He shot another plasma blast at him and the crystal immediately glowed greenish. "Now we can go." my Mate said.

We walked out again and Toothless closed the door with his tail. We took off one after the other and made our way home. What we didn't see anymore were Hiccup and his family, who looked after us and Astrid's sentence:

"Maybe it's our time to visit them!"
