Lao Yueliang was a very charming young Emperor who ruled the Empire of Wangguan.
He was a handsome young man with very long and smooth black hair, a perfect physique that made him the centre of attraction everywhere that he went.
The young man had been tangled into power at a tender age of twenty five about a week later than Tianshi.
All his life he had been quite a natural and a very talented person.
He mastered the techniques of combat as early as five, he was the very best In his class.
Growing up around the people he was not confined from his duties, he was the eldest of the Emperor's five sons and younger than three other sisters.
Lao Yueliang was the ministers' favorite of all his children and he had the very calm aura around him that attracted many to him.
He was seated in his study and looking at the full moon that hovered above the empire.
It was very beautiful from his view as it shone brighter in the starlit night sky.
"What is the matter Your Majesty?" Gang Lee his very close best friend and distant cousin asked.
"Nothing." The young Emperor replied as he looked on without diverting his attention from the view outside.
"You know if there is anything bothering you, you can tell me." Gang Lee said.
The Emperor sighed as he drew his stare to his General and best friend.
"It just gets so lonely, all this duty and it is very exhausting without father here." Lao Yueliang replied.
"He might be gone but he is still with you in your heart." Gang Lee said.
"Certainly, I just can't help feel void, there is still a part of me that always feels in complete, a part of me that desires something that I cannot seem to understand." Lao Yueliang said.
"It is something that is so deep, something like..." He was adding on before he was suddenly interrupted by Gang Lee.
"Love?" Gang Lee said.
"I don't know." Lao Yueliang said.
"Because the Generals and the ministers are all concerned and they keep reminding you that you must get married.
You are twenty five and have had very many young and beautiful girls going after you, you have had childhood favorites, how hard could it be?" Gang Lee asked.
"So you are also ganging up on me like all the others?" Lao Yueliang asked.
"No, I'm just trying to say that they are right to get concerned, at least for the welfare of the empire." Gang Lee replied.
Yueliang kept quiet as he returned to look at the radiant night sky.
"I guess I should stop talking about it at all." Gang Lee.
"You are right after all, I just can't seem to get it at all, why still keep myself locked in the past, why can't I keep going on normally with my life?" Yueliang rhetorically asked.
"You will, soon you certainly will." Gang Lee said comfortingly.
It seemed to work on the young Emperor very well because he stood up and began to walk around the room.
"Lee ,tell me something, where is this week's hunting expedition taking place?" Yueliang asked.
"At Qingdao, along the southern border of our territory." Gang Lee replied.
