Intro/ Prologue

Hi! Thanks for choosing this book. This book is originally a book I just made for fun, with no intention of posting but people have liked this story so I finally had the guts to post it.

So here it is!

Etherion:
Prince Jungkook- The bastard child of King Yucheon. (Red)
King Yucheon- The 10th king of Etherion and one of the greatest kings. (Black)

Arbeny:
Prince Jin- 1st Prince of Arbeny. (Light purple)
Prince Jimin- 2nd Prince of Arbeny (Bastard). (Pink)
Prince Taehyung- 3rd Prince of Arbeny. (Blonde)
Lola- Guard to Jin. (Brown)
Makenzie- Guard to Prince Jungkook (Blonde)
King Sejong- The 7th King of Arbeny.

Belvoir:
Prince Hoseok- Twin brother is Namjoon.
Prince Namjoon-Twin brother is Hoseok
King Yoongi- Older brother to Namjoon and Hoseok.
Falon- Guard to Yoongi (Used to work for Jungkook until she was sold to Belvoir)

Prologue

A small mansion lies on the edge of the Kingdom of Aberny. Weather like today would be like no other; sun shining, birds feeding the young, and the household was buzzing with life. The day has come where Makenzie would leave the comfort of her home, to go explore the world outside.
Most families would be sad about their only daughter leaving. However, her parents were filled with joy. They were happy to see their daughter become a guard to one of the Princes of the Kingdom. Father was very proud of her and supported her greatly. Mother was worried at first, considering her brother died when he was very young; due to being a guard, after some time her mother finally accepted that it wasn't going to change, and she started to support Makenzie: in even though she's still worried.
Remembering the letter she got, after a hard day of sparing with my father: the green and gold Dire Wolf seal on the front meant it was from the royal family. My father opened the letter and spoke:

́ ́ ́ Dear Mr. Lee Detral, it is becoming clearer by the day that your daughter, Makenzie, is an exceptional swordsman, and that my council and I have decided that she is able to protect my son, Kim Taehyung. I do wish for you to agree with my choice and I will be awaiting your answer. A carriage will be awaiting your daughter, Makenzie, if she will go. ́ ́ ́

Everyone ate lunch in silence. The servant, Mille, helped clean up, "Miss Kayla, I just wanted to wish you a safe journey." Mille spoke disheartedly as she wiped the dishes clean.
Makenzie put the dishes away safely in the cupboard, "Mille, honestly, I can tell by your voice that you're saddened by my departure," Closing the cabinet, she focused on Mille's expression.
Mille turned to face Makenzie, "My Lady, I watched you grow, like a blossom that has finally bloomed! I knew that this day would come, but I didn't expect it to be this soon..."
"Darling! The carriage has arrived: come! Get your bags and say your goodbyes!" Mother yelled from the foyer.
"I guess your journey is starting very soon, Makenzie," Mille said before grabbing two of my bags, and carrying them to the carriage.
After the farewells were said, Makenzie entered the carriage: the velvet curtains draped over the window, the seats were made of black leather, the walls painted with gold flowers with vines.
she sat down and waved goodbye as her journey began.
