Chapter Twelve: HELP!

Emily's hands wrapped around Makenzies neck, life slowly draining from her as it became harder for it to breathe.

"Why can't you get out of my life!" Emily spoke as she continued to tighten the grip around Makenzies throat.

Then, the door cracked open and a little figure walked into the room.

    "Mommy?" Sooki looked around, only the candle illuminating her mothers and Emily's face.

    Makenzie looked to Sooki then back to Emily, "Sooki.." She spoke gasping for air to be able to speak, "Go find daddy.." She was able to finish her sentence before Emily tightened the grip even more.

    Sooki ran out of the room and carefully climbed up the stairs. The guards looked at her and held her from going into the room, "Lady Sooki we can't let you in without your mother here."

    "But mommy needs help!" Sooki cried trying to punch the guards. "Daddy help!" She screamed, a few seconds later the door slammed open and Taehyung came out. He looked at the guards who were holding Sooki back and shoved them away.

    "Get your hands off of my child!" He yelled as he picked Sooki up trying to calm her.

    "Sweetheart, where is mommy? You know you shouldn't be up here without her" Taehyung said, not yelling like he did to the guards, but in a calming manner.

"Mommy.. S-she needs help" Sooki stuttered out.
"Where is she?" Taehyung's voice was more stern, but still had a sweet tone to it.

    "Her room" Sooki said as Taehyung started running down the stairs with Sooki in his arms.
    They busted through the doors and saw Makenzie, laying in her bed. Taehyung walked closer and saw the finger prints on her neck.

    Gently, Taehyung placed Sooki down and kneeled at the edge of Makenzies bed. He grabbed her hand and looked at her pale face.

    "Kayla..." He kissed her hand as the tears built up in his eyes

    "Daddy," Sooki pulled at her father's robes and he looked down at her, without thinking she put her arms around him and hugged him. He lost it and the tears started falling as he held his daughter in his arms.

    Lola ran into the room, "Sooki!" She yelled as she saw Taehyung with Sooki next to a body on the bed.
    "Kayla.." She ran to the bed and fell to her knees. "What the hell!"

"Guards!! Lock down the palace! And get the king" Lola yelled to the guards who were passing by outside her room.

    Chaos spreading throughout the palace like wildfire as doctors moved in and out of Makenzies room. "My baby!" Makenzies mother ran into the room her father right behind her. Makenzie laid there still her hands placed one on top of the other on her stomach. The doctor checked for other signs of life but could find none. He walked out of the room where Jin, Lola and Namjoon were standing. "There were signs of struggle and the fingerprints showed signs of strangle. It was a murder. I'm so sorry."

    Falon showed up as the doctor said, "I'm so sorry"
    She went to Jin and he explained to her what happened as Lola peeked into the room. Taehyung hadn't left that spot in an hour and the two parents were crying over their daughters' bodies.

    A loud gasp was heard throughout the room as Sooki screamed, "Mommy!!"

    Everyone rushed into the room as Makenzie sat up coughing blood.

She looked around and saw Taehyung beside her holding her hand. "Tae..." She looked at him rubbing her thumb across his cheek- wiping the tears from his eyes- and started crying.
