Chapter Four: I'm Leaving

Taehyung stood in front of his mirror, his black suit and Makenzie looked at him from the doorway before making her way towards him and smiled, "Your handsome as always, My Prince"
She spoke as she wrapped her arms around him. "Of course, my lady." He spoke.
    Taehyung gave her a peck on the cheek, grabbing her dagger and putting it against the dress and whispered in her ear, "I would love to tear this dress off of you."
    Makenzie rolled her eyes, "Oh do I see my princess, behaving wrongly?" Taehyung said as he turned away from his mirror, facing Makenzie.
"Maybe, will you punish me?" Makenzie said looking innocent.
Taehyung chuckled and spoke "I guess you will have to wait for that, my princess." He kissed her on the cheek then clapped his hands, "Well you should get dressed. The ball starts soon, and I have a surprise for you."
    Makenzie nods and then exits the room. In search for a dress, she finally asks for Jin. "Jin!!" She whined. "What should I wear."
Jin shook his head and smiled. "Wear navy or purple." He said.
    Makenzie picks out a purple dress with bell type sleeves and a navy gown going to her feet with blue flowers all around the sleeves.
"Purple" Jin said after she tried on the purple one.
"Thanks Jin! You know after these few months, I honestly consider you a brother."
    Jin smiled at her as he started to put some light makeup on her. "I'm glad to hear that." He puts on her mask and he takes her hand. Makenzie puts a dagger underneath her dress. "Kayla... No.. You shouldn't have to worry about protection." She smiled at those words and looked up at Jin. "You can never be too careful" She spoke softly.
    Jin smiled and held out his hand. "I believe the ball has started my lady. Shall we get going?"
    Makenzie smile grew and she nodded as she took Jin's hand. "Yes my king"
    The walk to the ballroom was short and most of the time walking there was silence, until Jin made a dad joke and she couldn't help but laugh at.
The ballroom was quite full and Jin had excused himself to find Jungkook. "You look lovely today." Jimin said raising his mask to her.
"Ahh Thank you Prince Jimin." Makenzie said as he kissed her hand.
"What is a pretty lady like you doing all alone." Prince Jimin said as he pulled his mask back down.
"Waiting for a man."
"Do I know him?"
    "I sure hope so!" Makenzie exclaimed looking shocked at what Jimin said.
"Please excuse me my dear, but I'll see you later." He winked before walking away to a group of ladies.
"You got all the princes tonight." Makenzie jumped and looked to see Falon talking to her.
Falon smirked as she turned to face the ballroom. Her red dress glistened as it flowed behind her. The rose pattern on her black belt made her seem like a princess.
Makenzie however just smiled and said "I consider them family." to that Falon nodded.
"Who will you choose?"
Makenzie looked to Falon in confusion. "What?"
"Will you go to protect Prince Jungkook because of the king's orders or will you stay with Taehyung because of your love for him?" Falon said.
And Makenzie looked down and then spoke, "My love for Taehyung grows by the day but the reason I meet him was on the king's orders, I can't just disobey his orders."
"You rather follow orders then follow your heart?" Falon snickered, "You really must be stupid." With that comment, she walked away.
She walked around the ballroom for a little while until she saw something horrific. Taehyung was in a deep make out session with a blonde lady of the court.
She felt something break inside of her as she rushed from the dance floor to the three thrones where Jin, Jimin and Lola were. "Kayla!" Lola exclaimed seeing her friend in tears.
Tears rolled down Makenzie's face. "Taehyung... He- he's kissing a-" Her voice went out and she started sobbing. Jin and Lola looked to each other. "Lola, we need to get Taehyung right now," Jin said as Jimin stood up to hug Makenzie.
Jimin walked Makenzie to the throne room where there were fewer people. "It's alright! We will fix this Kayla" She nodded as she looked up at Jimin.
Taehyung bursts through the doors with Jin and Lola fuming behind him. "Makenzie! Oh my god!" Taehyung said as Jimin let go of her.
Makenzie shook her head, "I thought you were better than this!"
"I am, Kayla, I am," Taehyung said trying to grab at Makenzie.
"Don't touch me, you ignorant prince! Honestly, I don't know if you're trying to convince me or yourself!" Makenzie spat. She rolled her eyes "Was this the surprise? You cheating on me!"
"No!... I-I wanted to ask if you would be my bride," Taehyung said, tears rolling down his cheek.
"Why would I marry a hoe like you!" Makenzie hissed, slapping Taehyung across the face. "I loved you, Kim Taehyung! I loved you more than anyone in my entire life! Yet, on the day you were supposedly going to propose to me, you decided it would be alright to kiss a lady of the court?"
Makenzie was fuming, "What made you think that was alright? Now I know my choice, Taehyung... I'm leaving!" With that, she stormed out of the room   
Taehyung fell to his knees, "I lost her, I lost the love of my life, Jin."
    However, instead of helping Taehyung, Jin shook his head, "She's leaving in the morning with Jungkook. If it's her wish, you can say goodbye." Jin said exiting the throne room with Lola.
    All who was left was Jimin and Taehyung. "Damn Taehyung, you fucked up."
"This is your fault! Jimin, You lied to her!"
"How the hell is it my fault? I'm not the one who cheated on my girl."
"I didn't kiss that lady!"
"So what did she see?" Jimin said looking at his half brother.
"She was wearing purple..." Taehyung said pulling his bangs back.
"You remember what that means? You arrogant prince?"
"She wore purple because she loved and trusted me," Taehyung said putting hands over his face, covering his tears.
"Correct, she knew this night would be the last night she would see you for a while, so she chose purple. The color, you made up that meaning." Jimin said looking at the door that Kayla exited 
"Congratulations, Your Highness" Jimin bowed and left the throne room.

Jungkook awoke the next morning from an awful hangover, quickly getting out of bed and getting dressed, he tried remembering last night. A lady had started flirting with him and one thing led to the next. He looked to the bed and saw the blonde lady asleep on his bed.
Putting his black suit in his case, he decided to wear a white shirt with black pants.
Jungkook grabbed his bag and exited the room, not looking back at the lady in his bed.
He was about to close the door when Makenzie turned around a corner, so he hurried back in the room and slammed it shut in a hurry.
He heard a voice and the blonde girl in the bed started to stir. He grumbled to himself as he walked to his window. He was only on the second floor, so he was going to climb down.
He threw his bag over his shoulder and put his coat on. He then climbed out the window, shutting it behind him. He started to the left as he held on, making sure nobody was around. When he was clear, he started down.
He was almost halfway down when a voice sounded from below, "Prince Jungkook? What are you-" Falon was cut off when Jungkook startled and let go of the wall.
Falon's eyes widened as Jungkook yelped, dropping his bag on her head. She then looked up to have Jungkook fall right on top of her. She fell to the ground, him not helping her break the fall.
Once he hit the ground, his leg stabbed into her stomach, causing her to almost throw-up. Jungkook's head then bashed right into her face, giving her a sudden bloody nose.
Falon's arm bent by how he landed on her, causing it to crack. A scream escaped her mouth, alerting Yoongi who wasn't far behind her.
Jungkook started to stand up, but fell right back down, spraining his ankle and almost breaking Falon's leg. A head stuck out of Jungkook's room; Makenzie screamed at the sight. She disappeared, running downstairs.
Yoongi then appeared from around a tree, murder flashed in his eyes, ¨Bloody fucking hell!¨"His mouth cursed towards Jungkook.
Jungkook then stood up, stepping on Falon's already twisted leg, causing it to snap again. She bellowed.
Yoongi rushed at Jungkook, grabbing him by the shirt and pushing him away from Falon. At that time, Makenzie appeared with Jin. Lola was behind them along with Taehyung. They had all heard the sharp screams and very loud cracks.
"What the hell happened?" Jin spoke up, rushing over to Jungkook and Yoongi. Yoongi looked pissed and furious.
Nobody seems to acknowledge Falon was practically dying by the body of Jungkook.
Yoongi growled and started to cuss every three seconds.
Makenzie started to run to Falon but Jungkook slipped and fell back onto her. She screamed again as he elbowed her chest, Shit, sorry!" Jungkook yelped.
Makenzie got to Falon once Yoongi threw Jungkook off of her. Taehyung and Jin separated the two to stop a fight that was about to break out.
Makenzie helped Falon sit up as she screamed, "Are you OK? What happened?" Everyone went quiet to listen.
Falon growled at Jungkook, "This fucking dumbass was climbing out of his window and fucking fell on top of me like a pillow! Fucking god damn asshole!" She screamed as loud as she could.
That's when a head appeared from Jungkook's window, "Kookie, why did you leave?"
Everyone looked at Jungkook, who stood right between Falon's broken legs, "I can explain?"
Makenzie made quick eye-contact with Taehyung, he smiled.
Falon yelled, "Explain this!" Somehow Falon got enough strength to bring her broken leg up and smash it into Jungkook's crotch as hard as she could.
When she did this, Jungkook fell down, right onto her. She screamed again and everyone scrambled to grab him. Yoongi grabbed Falon, while on his knees, and hissed at Jungkook, "I hope you die, you bastard!¨
Falon spoke to Makenzie, "You have to protect this bastard?"
Makenzie spoke her eyes glared at Falon for  a second, "First off, don't speak of that word. Yes, and I'm happy, because I'll be free from someone."
Yoongi helped Falon up and carried her to his carriage. Jungkook threw his bag to Makenzie.
    "Asshole." Makenzie mumbled carrying his bag.
Taehyung helped taking the bag. "May I speak?"
"If you must," Makenzie said not wanting to make eye contact.
    "Look, Kayla, I'm really sorry if I hurt you. Please, I am begging you not to go."
    Makenzie put her bag on the back of the carriage and sighed, "Taehyung, it's too late. I made my decision."
    Taehyung nodded and gave Makenzie one last hug, and a kiss on the forehead before she climbed onto her horse.
    Jin walked to Makenzie's horse and whispering into her ear. "Be sure to write to me and if you want, Taehyung too. He still loves you."
Makenzie sighs but nods. The carriage starts moving and so does she. She waved to everyone as they left the palace gates.
