It's been a week since that incident when I was almost killed and Mattia Polibio saved me.
I haven't had a meeting with him in a week.
I haven't returned the case cold either. I can't.
Right now I was back in New York working on a different case.
I kept remembering all the times I was around him, I felt something different. I enjoyed his presence.
His face was so intimidating yet so calm.
I walked out of the building where I work at since I was finished for the day .
There was no one in the parking lot and it was 7:00pm and it was pitch black outside already.
I felt something cover my mouth and something go over my head.
Mattia's Pov:
I was in one of my garages where I fix up my cars, maybe add some turbo to the engine or tint windows.
It was already pitch black outside, and it was only 7:00pm.
I get a call and answer it.
"Yeah?" I say through the phone.
"Mattia, bro all these fuckers are looking for you, they wanna get rid of you" Alejandro says through the phone. (My baby is BACK)
I chuckle, these low lives are trying to get rid of me? I'm untraceable.
"Have they came around you Alejandro?" I ask
"Nah, well yeah I took them out though, they have some guts doing this shit" he says.
"Just don't let them get to you, aight I'll talk later I'm busy now" I shut the phone.
You're probably wondering why I "fake killed" Alejandro. The truth is I did that so that the cops wouldn't get him, he was so close to go

I've been friends with him since high school, always have those bonds where you have your brothers back.
I go back to under my car, and continue adding the turbo.
That's when I heard the door open and I growled moving from under the car. (Imagine him, in a singlet or shirtless, and muscular shoulders 😻, and when his angry 🤤)
It was Kairi. Short fuck.
He was bleeding a lot, his arm was terribly bruised and he was breathing heavily.
"Fuck, they almost got me" he groans and grimaces as he sits on the chair and I sit in front of him.
"Jesus Kairi, maybe for once DONT fuck up" I say and he laughs.
"I'm fucked up" he says and I laugh.
(Ayee the whole gang coming together slowly)
"So what happened with that hot investigator, detective what ever she is" kairi says.
"Nothing, just another bitch that won't listen" I say.
"All the bitches you had before listened, what is she doing? Not returning the case cold?" Kairi says.
"Yeah" i answer, damn she was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.
I didn't really care for her though, maybe when she was almost killed by those men.
I was driving around in my car and recognised her, I though I'd kill her myself but I was wrong.
After that, she accuses me of kidnapping her parents, I mean she thought that because I'm a criminal.
That bitch.
I was going to kill her at 4am, but I decided not. Only because she kept my name out of her mouth when she was gonna get killed.
"Bruh, you aight. Stop day dreaming" Kairi says.
"Bro. I'm thinking" I say
"Of what?"
"I want her body to be mine" I say
"You think a girl like that would be with a guy like you? SHES A DETECTIVE, she could be calling the cops right now to take your ass" he says.
"True"
"I mean who wouldn't want her body to themselves" he says.
"Does she boyfriend?" Kairi ask's.
"I don't know, probably" I say.
"If she did, he wouldn't allow her to be around you, you're a criminal, we all are" Kairi says. This kid is smart.
"I wanna fuck her" it slips out of my mouth and Kairi smirks at me.
"She's probably a virgin" Kairi says, I wrapped a bandage around his arm.
"Damn..., even better" I bit my bottom lip thinking of her in my arms. I still don't care for the bitch, she's feisty and that's what I like.
