Nalia POV:
"Any last words Princess?" Mattia whispers in my ear and I gasp.
"Mattia..." Alejandro says sighing
Mattia gave them a look and they shut up. I was scared, this is probably my last day, what are my last words gonna be?.
"You're not going to kill me" I say
"What makes you think that?" He asks still gripping my neck not so tightly the gun on my temple.
"Because....even monsters have hearts" I mumble but he heard.
"You're wrong" he says whispering in my ear which sent shivers down my body.
He clicks the gun.
"P-please" I whimper
He ignores me, letting go of my neck and his arm wraps around my waist pulling me closer to him.
His cologne...was amazing, it smelt like heaven.
He buries his head in my neck and sniffs my scent. He moves up to my ear.
"I'd never hurt you Princess, even if I wanted to, I couldn't" he whispers, his lips brushing my ear slightly and I shivered.
He went down to my neck and placed a soft kiss, before removing the gun from my temple.
I felt butterflies in my stomach, and he was the only one who made me feel this way.
"Mattia" I say he was still holding me by my waist, he laid his head in my neck. I loved the feeling of it, it was so loving.
"Mm" he hums
"I'm sorry" I say and he chuckles
"For?" He asks
"Shooting this place, I might've-" he cuts me off
"This isn't my place, just a house we use for product" he says, product meant drugs to sell.
"Oh"
His phone started ringing and he groaned, annoyed he took it out of his pocket and answered.
"I'm busy"
"Tell her to wait or get her distracted, send her with Roshaun" he says into the phone.
Who is her?
He hangs up and I turn to him.
"Her?" I ask
"Caterina" he answers and I bit my tongue so I wouldn't run my mouth.
"She wasn't kidnapped...she found us and wanted to stay, we made some deals and here we are" mattia briefly explains and I nod.
"Hey you two good?" Kairi ask's walking to us, he almost fell in the glass of the chandelier.
We nod and he looks at us confused.
"Uh-I have to head home..I have to work in the morning" I say and they nod understanding, mattia seemed frustrated.
"Alejandro can I take your car?" I ask
"Keep it" he says and I widen my eyes, he had so many other cars.
"Thanks" I say and he smiles, awe.
"Be careful on the roads" Kairi says and I nod rolling my eyes.
I drive home safely and get ready to start a new case the next day. I wasn't done with mattias case since everything has been going on.
Next day
"Nalia this nonsense cant go on" my boss says about Case 427.
"I-it's"
"No excuses, we gave you 5 months and we have nothing out of it" he sighs in concern sitting down.
"What do I do?" I ask
"Get the case closed, finish it off. Come on I know you're smarter than this. This is a suspect, cold killer, solve the case" he says and I sigh
You're falling for his tricks, mattia is a cold killer
His easy to trust....
"Nalia! This case needs to be done and dusted! The suspect needs to be found to go to prison, or so killed by the police" he says and my heart dropped.
"Killed by the police?" I ask
"There's no choice in it, this suspect has been going on for months" he says
I was silent, speechless infact I had no idea for anything. And my boss was right.
"Find the suspect, he'll be sent to prison, then the car will be done and dusted" he says briefly, he was right.
Mattia has been getting to my head, he was as manipulative as he seemed or even more, he was easy to trust.
I couldn't believe i actually fell for him, when he would end up killing me, he brain washed me.
I'm going to fucking kill her
