(Sage's POV)

Aiden and me didn't do nothing last night. Halfway through making out he fell asleep. Whatever he was doing all day yesterday must've knocked him out.

The sun streaming through the window woke me up and I got out of bed without jostling a snoring Aiden. I walked quietly to the bathroom and started hyperventilating.

"Calm down, Sage, everything's okay." I assured myself. I was so nervous about everything.

I turned in the faucet and washed my teeth and face. I stared at myself in the mirror and forced myself to think about the plan to get out of here.

Gain Aiden's trust; Gain Casper's friendship to get me out of here; Find out in where I am.

The last one was my next step. By the time I got out of the bathroom, Aiden was replaced by Casper sitting on the bed. He was playing with a smartphone and when he looked up at me he dropped it on the floor.

"Can't you wait outside?" I say, a towel was covering my naked body and I had a hand on my hip.

"R--right. Yeah." He stumbled as he made his way out of the room.

I put on a tank top and shorts over the bikini and opened the door to see Casper with his eyes closed.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Are you decent?" He says, opening one eye.

"Yes, Popeye." I say snickering and he scowled at me.

"Let's just go downstairs." Casper sighed and I followed him down to the kitchen.

I realized the mansion was oddly quiet and empty, the buzzing of the fridge the only noise.

"Where's everyone?" I say.

"Aiden took them all." Casper replies as he took a fruit bowl out of the fridge.

"Are you ever going to tell me what he's up to?" I say and he rolled his eyes.

"Are you ever going to stop asking questions?" He mimicked my voice and I stuck my tongue at him.

"You're an ass." I say as I took the fruit bowl and went out to the patio.

The first thing that hit me was the heat. The blinding sun made me cover my eyes with a hand and the sky was smoggy. I was more than happy to sit on the pool's edge and dip my legs in the water.

Casper sat on a lawn chair under and umbrella with a laptop in his lap which he typed on constantly.

"Wow, it's so hot for September in California." I say, fanning myself with my hands.

"That's because this is Las Vegas not LA, princess." Casper responded without thinking and he suddenly realized what he said. "Oh, crap!"

I grinned evilly and I finally made him angry, "You're sneaky, princess, too sneaky."

"It's called smart, boy, not sneaky." I say with a wink.

"Let's see how smart you'll be when I tell Aiden, eh?" Casper threatened.

I scoffed, "Tell him what? You were the one who told me where we are because I never asked you. Weren't you supposed to be watching me? Aiden isn't going to be happy when he hears that."

That made Casper gape at me for a while.

"Okay, I think that's enough for today." He grabbed my wrist to pull me up to my feet, but instead I pulled him, making us both fall into the pool.
