Chapter 1; Pt. 1- Finding Out

》○ Izuku's Point of View ○《

"Izuku! I'm going out! I'll be home soon!" I heard Shoto call from the living room. We had been dating and living together for six years now and it was common for him to go out on Friday's to hang out with friends. It just so happened that this time I was a lot more on edge than normal. "Okay Shoto! Please stay safe baby!" I called back. Shoto obviously knew how to protect himself but he meant the world to me and I always told him to stay safe. Once I heard the door whut and lock I knew he was gone. Shoto always made sure many times over that he had everything before leaving so he wouldn't be back until he was back for the night. I sat on our king size bed as I heard him drove away. The sheets and pillows were all over and just a pure mess. Although if you take into as account what had been done the night before, it wasn't very pure. I soon got up and made my way to the bathroom right outside of our room. I knew it might have seemed crazy from basically anyone else's point of view, so let me explain. Most people think I was born quirkless. I was actually born with a quirk that allows me to get pregnant. Obviously this isn't something I can control which is why I took me so long I find out. I never told Shoto and sometimes I even let it slip my mind...like last night. I rummaged through the cabinets under our sink and tried to find a pregnancy test. I knew that I had a box of them, but I had to keep them hidden from Shoto. I knew there was a good chance I could be. We had been a bit reckless the past month, mainly because we had celebrated our six year anniversary and wanted more than just one night. Once I found it I set it on the counter, closing and locking the door. I had high doubts of anyone coming over but just in case they did I didn't want them to see. I then looked in the large mirror. I was insanely nervous. I wanted a child at some point, but was unsure if I was at that point. I decided to stop holding off and just do it. I open the box and take out one of the three tests. I take took a deep breath and then took the test. Once I finished I set the test on the counter and washed my hands. Since I had to wait five minutes, I decided to straighten up the bed. I walked out and took everything off of the bed. Once I finished that about twenty minutes had passed. I hesitantly made my way back to the bathroom and picked up the testm my eyes went wide and the test fell out of my hand. It hit the floor and the noise it made seemed so loud in the moment. How was I going to explain to Shoto that I was pregnant?
