The two of them spent the rest of the morning looking at birthing centers near where they work. By the time that noon rolled around they found one they liked about half an hour away and decided to go check it out.––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
Izuku slipped a plain white shirt on and some jeans before sitting down on the bed again. "All of this is for you my sweet Dumpling." He said quietly as he looked down at his stomach, rubbing it gently. "It's not just about him, love." Shoto reminded as he got ready to go. "Right, it's about both of us. It's my job to keep you safe dumpling." Izuku smiled. Shoto nodded and walked over to him, crouching down. He rested him hands on Izuku's thighs and kissed his stomach. "And it's my job to protect both of you." Shoto cooed. Izuku giggled little. "Now, let's get going." Shoto stood up and held out his hand. Izuku took his head and they walked out to the car.

After a thirty minute drive, they arrived at the very cozy looking center. Shoto and Izuku both got out and took each others hands before walking inside. Once inside, Izuku led Shoto to the front desk. "Hi there!' Izuku chirped. "Hi! What can I help you with today?" The lady asked. Shoto stepped forward. "We made an appointment to have a meeting with one of the midwives." Shoto informed her. "Ah, last name?" She questioned. "Todroki-Midoriya, it's hyphenated." He told her. She nodded and got up. "follow me right this way." The lady led them to an office room where one of the midwives sat behind a desk. Izuku and Shoto walked in and sat in the two chair in front of the desk. "Hello you two! I'm Dr. Saki. Your names?" She greeted. "I'm Izuku and this is my fiance Shoto." Izuku told her with a warm smile. She nodded as she typed this information. She grabbed a clipboard and got up, walked out and motioning for them to follow. They got up and followed. "So, this is your first child?" She asked. "Yep, our little boy." Izuku told her. "I see. So if you look into this room, this is one of our many birth and recovery rooms. It has a bunch of different options that way the mother is more in control." She explained. They then walked into the room and talked for a while. Izuku decided this would probably be their best options. He signed the papers and made it official. Izuku and then Shoto then started to leave. "I've got high hopes." Izuku smiled. "Rightfully so." He wrapped his arm around Izuku's waist.
