Izuku managed to sleep the whole might through. That should have been the first sign something was up. Shoto woke up, noticing that his fiance was a lot warmer than normal. The time was a little after nine.
____________________________________Izuku woke up feeling noticeably sicker than usual. He sat up and quickly pushed all of the blankets away. He panted a little and looked around. He noticed that Shoto was no longer beside him. He wrapped his arms around his stomach and stood up. Nausea and dizziness hit him instantly. He let out a small whimper and made his way to the kitchen. Having assumed his partner was sick and planned to stayed in bed, Shoto was in the kitchen making some food. He was making eggs and toast, something easy that Izuku could usually keep down. Izuku sniffled and took a seat at the table. "How are my babies doing?" Shoto asked in his soft tone. "Not the best..." He responded with a weak tone. "Babe, you should have stayed in bed." Shoto set a plate of eggs and toast infront of him. "I know babe, but laying in bed makes me feel helpless, you know I hate that." Izuku sighed, feeling defeated. "I know you hate it, but you're sick and you need rest. I'm pretty lenient when you're sick normally, but you have to consider the baby." Shoto sat down next to him and rubbed his back. "Huh? What are you talking abo- Oh..right.." Izuku tried to snap of of his dazed and confused state. "Babe..did you really just forget that you're carrying our child?" Shoto was insanely worried. "N-no! How could I forget something like that.." Izuku teared up a little. "Okay babe, how about we go take a nice warm shower." Shoto suggested. Izuku was done eating by this point. Shoto stood up and picked up Izuku, carrying him to their room.
____________________________________After their shower, and a nice back rub, Izuku was fast asleep. Shoto took advantage of this time and decided to clean out the guest room. "My poor baby's not feeling good...and so suddenly too.." Shoto felt so bad for Izuku. Meanwhile Izuku started to toss and turn. Shoto heard this and rushed back to their room. He laid down next to him and held him. Izuku opened his eyes slowly. "He's kicking me really really hard." He whimpered. "You want to try walking around? The exercise ball? A light snack?" Shoto asked, keeping his voice gentle. "I'll try bouncing, and a light snack would be nice too." Izuku said as he slowly sat up. Shoto nodded and moved the ball closer to the bed. "I'll be right back with your snack." Shoto left the room. Izuku took a few deep breaths before standing. Thankfully the nap really helped and he didnt feel dizzy anymore. He carefully sat down on the ball and bounced slowly. "Calm down little buddy, mama's here..." Izuku cooed tiredly. Shoto soo. Returned with a granola bar for Izuku. "Here you go, love." Shoto handed it to him and then sat down on the bed in front of him. "Thank you babe." Izuku quickly ate it. Shoto nodded and reached out, rubbing his stomach. "He was doing so good." Izuku sighed. "I know babe, but he's just trying to stretch." Shoto tried to make light of it. "I guess you're right." Izuku giggled. "So what did you do during my nap?" He questioned. "I got the soon-to-be nursery cleaned up." Shoto told him. "That's good, hopefully when I start to feel better we can start to work on the nursery." Izuku smiled. Shoto gave a nod in return. Izuku kept bouncing for a while. "He seems to be calming down which is promising." Izuku let out a sigh of relief.
