FUN FACT- Human Hair
Everybody sheds between 40-150 strands of hair per day.
(But how? During combing or what? How come we don't see the shedded hairs?
😂😂.. this is apparently why most of us aren't proud of our hairs (in Africa))Unknown's Point Of View (P.O.V)
It was a freezing cold Saturday morning in mid December. The whether was extremely cold and foggy. The streets were almost empty as people seeked refuge and warmth in their various homes. Everywhere was dead silent and one could only hear the chirm of birds and the strong, cold, foggy wind forcefully blowing it's way around, sweeping fallen leaves around, and, forcefully hitting and slapping the louvers and building walls.
There he was, sitted on his wheelchair, as he watched and listened to the breaking news of the day in the sitting room of his exquisitely built home, located at the farthest outskirts of Lagos, where only wealthy and outstanding citizens resided. Far away from the crowdy streets and rowdy activities of Lagos town. His mansion was called 'The Pataudi Palace', a name given to it by the community people because it was the best building, and most probably because the community dwellers were no match to his taste, lifestyle and most importantly, his riches. And because his building sat on an historical spot, which was said to have been owned by a royal family. 'Pataudi', they say, means fragile.
'The Pataudi Palace', a building as wide as a Federal hospital. Painted white from the exterior, and covered with a tall, golden electrical gate, guarded by two armed, hefty security men. The palace is situated only a kilometer after the community entrance and almost 3 kilometers away from the other houses in the community. Simply put, the Pataudi Palace is the first house you get to in the community, and the last you pass through, while exiting the community. The palace was the pride of the community.
Inwards, after the gate, is a long boulevard, covered with tall growing trees, making a shade along the walk paths that leads to the main building entrance. The building itself is a two story building which is also painted white, with a huge balcony, facing the gate and the lonely tar road that leads to the it. The front of the main building of the 'Pataudi Palace' is sided by green carpet grass that spreads to the sides, backwards, towards the back of the building, and stops at the car park which displays lots of exotic and latest model cars. Some of which are black BMW, Mercedes, Ford, and Kia products, respectively.
Externally, the palace has a large, wooden double door, which opens to internally reveal a large entrance room, painted with white shiny, polish paint, with brown marble floors. The huge silver-lined window panels give in for natural lights to pour in freely. The walls carry different sized frames of pure artwork on the left and several photos of the residents as well as lots of awards they had won on the right.
Climbing up the stairs to the left, is situated the living room. Properly lit and heated up to provide warmth against the harshness of the weather. With white walls, was white ceiling, with a golden colored shiny chandelier, hanging loosely in between the room, making sure the place habours no darkness. There were six big gold cushions rounding the four cornered wall with a full, soft fluffy golden rug spread between them.
A fragile mirrored centre table was kept in the middle of the rug. The golden curtains were laced with brown butterfies preventing the early morning brightness from creeping in, and there was a very large plasma TV hanging on the right side of the wall supported by a home sound system at both sides.
