Ann's Point of View (P.O.V)
Song Credit_ Stay a Little Longer: Anushka Shahaney.
I've been waiting for something new
I've been waiting for something new
Now I know it's for youThe silver lining to my dark cloud
The silver lining to my dark cloud
Truth in this world of doubtNow that I have you
Don't let me go
Now that I have you
Don't let me go
Oh, I know that time to leave has come
I'm not ready for this moment to be doneStay a little longer with me, baby
Won't you stay a little longer with me?
Stay a little longer with me, baby
Won't you stay a little longer with me?I continued to take long strides towards her when Jireh suddenly appeared in front of me, making me stop in my track and halt abruptly.
I looked straight into his eyes, with anger and rage, and saw his like he had been sulking. My hard expression melted into a soft one, and was replaced by pity and hurt.
'W...what is it?', I asked him calmly as I stablilized my breath while I still looked into his dark eyes.
'I... I ju.. Can I talk to you please?', he managed to mutter, blinking his eyes slowly and lowering his gaze, as if shy.
Oh girl!. He has to be shy!. You caught him copulating with a whore!.
'You're already talking', I replied back immediately, folding my arms across my chest and looking around the room to find it empty. It had just four of us in it.
Jireh. I. Esosa. Yomi.
We. The Fantastic Four!.
'Babes, I swear it wasn't what it seemed. I swea.......', he began to explain, when I heard Esosa's loud voice from behind him. Both Jireh and I turned to look towards her direction and I found her yelling at the ever peaceful and calm Yomi.
What could he have done to her?. What's between them both?.
We'll find out in a couple of seconds dear. Esosa cannot keep quiet, you know?.
'...I never knew, because you never told me. We are meant to be transparent.... But you aren't...', she continued to yell at Yomi, who just stood there, in front of her, totally speechless and dumbfounded.
'...You were meant to tell me everything about you because I told you all out me...'.
'Take it easy Calla. You're creating a scene, and I told you everything. I did tell you all about me', Yomi said in the calmest of his voice, and he made me begin to wonder how he has been able to endure and withstand all the pressures he passes through.
I've known him for a couple of years, four years, and he's been the one person I have never seen sad or angry. He has always been the same cool, calm, reserved and humble Yomi, filled with life and love.
And now that my very temperamental sister is showing of her profound talent in front of him, he's still as calm as ever.
Wooah Yomi!. Superb!. You're so virtuous!.
