Does blood smell? I mean, human blood. Does it have a smell?
(Just a random question tho).

Unknown's Point Of View (P.O.V)

It was shining so bright the next morning. So bright that the sun was fully out and one could clearly tell that it was past the rush hours of the morning.

Her room, a minimally sized square shaped room, painted grey and white, gave the room a perfect contrast to the huge, dark brown wardrobe standing by the right corner. A big, in-built shoe rack stood right beside the wardrobe displaying all sorts of feminine shoes and a few masculine slides which, obviously are oversized for Ann's feet.

A medium sized, pure white, fluffy carpet layed at the end of her dark brown queen sized bed which was stuffed with a soft foamy mattress. Two bedside drawers were attached to either side of the bed. One carried a white bedside lamp and a few books, the other was topped with her two phones, her purse and the remote control to the TV that hung on the wall just opposite the bed.

The left side of the room only carried a long, red, polished, wide makeup table which displayed all sorts of brushes, makeup products as well as a few skincare products. There stood a ringlight right in front of the table. Above the table, was a sparkling clean mirror with dark brown polished wooden edges which was positioned to give a reflection of the whole room from all corners and especially, a reflection of the bed which was situated in the heart of the room.

A window sat in the middle of the wall that stood behind the headrest of her bed, which always let in sunrays but most importantly, granted her access to directly view the gate of her house. The window was barred by double curtains. The first layer, a thin transparent dark brown material, and the outer layer, a thick, long dark brown curtain with light brown designs similar to broken stems spread evenly on it. The curtains, thick enough to reduce the reflections from outside.

It was 10.56am, on a Sunday morning, and Ann was still sleeping. She tossed around the bed, stretching out her arms to get a hold of him but didn't feel his presence. Then she tried to open her eyes, but her sleepy eyes were pierced by the sunrays that poured in slightly through the curtains. She turned to look to the other side of the room where the rays wouldn't get to her blurry vision so she could lay until she was fully awake, but her eyes met with something. A signature move of a man in love.

On the beside drawer, sat a spoon, in a cup of coffee, in a smiley-faced decorated ceramic cup placed in a mini tray. She smiled widely, sat up, inhaled the aroma of the strong coffee then sipped from the cup. After downing almost half of the content of the smiley-faced cup while sitted at the bed edge, she slid her feet into her oversized bedroom footer slippers, got up from the bed and headed out, to the kitchen, with the cup of coffee in her hand wearing a black silk nighty, with high slits that stoped at her waist on both sides and spaghetti strap that hung around her shoulders and a v-neck that exposed a little bit of her chest.

That wasn’t the first time he did that. He always made her breakfast while she was in bed any day he spent the night at her place. And whenever he spent the night in her apartment and she couldn’t find him by her side, in bed, the next morning, she knew he would be in the kitchen.

Yes, he was there. In a grey sweatpant that hung loosely around his waist, and his chest, bare. He was in the kitchen putting meat chunks into the sauce he was frying. She stood by the transparent glass which was a few meters away from her room and a few footsteps away from the kitchen door.

She owned a bedroom apartment with everything medium sized. Her living room, with milk colored walls, had a few black leather seat cushions and a plasma TV supported by a home sound system below it. Several awards hung on the wall as well as many portraits of her in different sizes. There was a small center table carrying her car keys and the TV remote. A body length mirror hung on the wall at a reasonable length away from the exit door.
