You know, field trips used to be fun.

In fourth grade, you went to the zoo and the planetarium. In tenth grade, you're going to the Stark Tower. Cool. You've seen better.

You and Peter are sprawled around his room, concentrating on homework before going on nightly patrol together. Your pencil glides swiftly against the paper in one hand, while your other is immobile due to your head resting on your arm. Peter lies upside down on his bed, reading a book and occasionally taking notes. Your phone vibrates in your back pocket and you reach for t and see that you and Peter's chemistry teacher has emailed your class about a field trip to the Stark Tower tomorrow.

"Pete, did you get this email about the field trip?" You ask lazily, looking up at your boyfriend. The corner of your mouth twitches in a smile as he looks at you upside down.

"Yeah. Do you think we can just skip it?" Peter askes, running his hand through his hair. "Flash is never gonna shut up about 'oh, Peter Mr. Stark doesn't even know you! I bet the only time you've seen Spider-Man was in your dreams!'" Peter says, sarcastically mimicking Flash.

"What I'm really scared about is if they take us to see the avengers, then Sam and Clint are gonna say something embarrassing." You roll your eyes.

Peter sighs. "Should we fake being sick?"

"No," you shake your head. "I'm not trying to ruin my spotless attendance reputation."

"You say that like you're serious." Peter laughs.

"I am serious."

-<>-<>- time skip brought to you by awkward silences

You and Peter head to the Stark Tower about thirty minutes before your class will be there. You both get dressed in your costumes and slip on your masks. You hang out in the living room with the other Avengers until the receptionist who is leading the class around stops for the meet and greet.

Tony tells everyone to get ready because the class will be coming soon. You get into comfortable positions on the couch and smile at everyone as the elevator door opens, revealing a handful of shocked students. "Our final stop is the Avenger's living room. We are going to do a quick meet and greet with them then get going." The receptionist explains, and all the giddy students gather around different people.

The people around you say things like,

"I heard you can bench press 500 pounds!"

"Weren't you the one that got shot like five times?"

"Are you actually dating Spider-Man?"

"True, true, and yes." You laugh, enjoying the attention of people who would never take a second glance at you at school. "The most I've bench-pressed was 625 pounds, and I've gotten shot five different times, and I'm dating Spider-Man. Spidey!" You call over to him and open your arms for him to hug you. You cuddle on the couch for the rest of the time that your class is here.

"Mr. Spider-Man?" Flash asks, his voice slightly shaking in nervousness of meeting his favorite Avenger. "Is it true that Pen- er, Peter Parker is an intern here and that you know him?"

"Yeah! Peter's a cool guy." He says nonchalantly.

"Peters so smart. He helps me with my homework when it gets rough." You add.

"D-does Y/N L/N also have an internship?" Flash stutters.

"Yup. She's like my sister." You reply.

"Y/N and Peter are so cute together," Peter says, dragging out the 'o' in 'so' in emphasis.

"They really are," You giggle.
