A Dawsey One Night stand

Chapter 4: Once again

Matt POV:
I woke up with gabby in my arms, all the details from the night before come into my head. Then I remember I have shift today, I checked the time to see it was 6:45 and I need to be at work for 7:30! I moved gently trying not to wake gabby and grab my clothes and put them on before I write a note for gabby 'hey beautiful, I'm in work and I didn't want to wake you but if you can, come to my apartment tomorrow night for dinner at 7pm?'

As I left I couldn't help but smile, I rushed to my apartment to get my uniform on and then went to the firehouse.

Gabby POV:
I woke up and realised Matt wasn't here, I had an amazing time last night, I roll over to check the time and see a note that Matt left for me. He's so sweet. I've got no plans for the rest of the time I'm here,Matt said last night he wants me to stay and I might come back soon but I need to go back for a year first. I got up and got ready for the day, I went downstairs to the coffee hut in my hotel and went back up to my room. I was thinking of going to Mollys later but nobody will be there because they will be on shift so I might go to the fire house.

Matt POV:
We have an hour left of shift and still not one call,I can't wait for tonight so I'm gonna call gabby and make sure she's able to come.

G: hey Matt!
M: Gabby, hey, did you think of coming tonight?
G: Yes, definitely, see you then!
M: Ok great, bye!

Before I knew it shift was over and I headed for the locker room to get changed and grab my bag,I can't believe there was no calls today!
I never asked Gabby what she wanted for dinner and there's nothing to eat in my apartment so I need to call to the store on my way home.
I decided to make lasagne as that was Gabbys favourite dinner.

Gabbys POV:
I'm on my way to matts house, I feel like I might end up kissing him again but I have no idea!
I pull up infront of his apartment and get out of my rental car.
When I knock there was no answer so I figured he was in the kitchen and couldn't hear me, I walked in because the door was unlocked and decided I would try and scare Matt.
I tiptoe into the kitchen and go up behind him and hear him singing to himself, BOO! I said, he didn't get scared, he claims  he knew I was there the whole time. We sat at the table and ate dinner while we talked about old memories. As I stood up and hugged Matt for dinner I headed for the door, he grabbed my hand and asked me where I thought I was going, I chuckled and he kissed me, I shut the door and we made our way to his bedroom and spent the night together once again.

Posting again now because I don't know when I would of been able to next update, what day would use like me to upload? I'll do a specific day!
