Chaper 21: Cant it wait?

"We need to talk" Matts voice being the only sound filling the room as they cuddled up together in the lounge, he could basically feel her confusion so he decided to add more detail "about why you left". Just as she was about to reply they heard the faint noises of there baby girl starting to cry, "I guess it needs to wait." Gabby says as she walks to get Olivia.

Matt gets a plate of food that Cruz had made for breakfast, he and Gabby are now back at work but Olivia is staying at the station with the babysitter, Molly. They decided it was best to go back sooner than later and chief says it's fine if she stays at 51 as long as she doesn't hold her parents back on too many calls. Liv is now 3 and a half months old but still can't do much except hold her head up and make some noises.

the two parents haven't spoke about the conversation they had at the start of the week and neither of them dared to bring it up.

it was now 9:14pm and Olivia was asleep in the firehouse in matts office, her and molly sleep there so the baby gets a better sleep and then both parents sleep in the bunk room.

"Matt, i need to talk to you in the bunk room" Gabbys voice echoes through the common room while everyone eats supper. "Can't it wait? Im in the middle of eating" Gabby can only reply to him with a death stare and then a "No, Matt it cant!" her change of tone makes some of the firefighters heads snap up. With that response, Matt gets up and follows Gabby down the halls of 51 until she stops infront of him at a bed, signalling for him to sit on it.
Matts the first to speak up and is asking a very confused question, "what do you want to talk about?"
Gabbys is hesitating to respond but after some persuading from Matt she finally brings herself to say her big secret...
