Space Agent ※ Seongjoong

Mingi appeared in the room Cargo had taken Hongjoong and Seonghwa. The two were sat back to back as if they weren't already untied.

"Mingi," Hongjoong quickly stood and ran to Mingi.

"Come with us." Seonghwa stood next to the reunited duo.

"I can't...I don't think I have much longer." Mingi held onto Hongjoong wanting the feeling to be there even after he was gone.

"At least be around people who care about you," Seonghwa pleaded. He watched Hongjoong falling apart in Mingi's arm.

"I can't let them watch me end up like that again." Mingi let Hongjoong go.

"You're coming with us Mingi." Hongjoong wiped the tears from his eyes only they wouldn't stop coming.

"But-"

"No buts, now get us out of here." Mingi nodded this was his first priority anyways. The man pretending to be Grimes had a particular habit of bathing after doing any crime. It was his way of washing of the sins he had committed.

The water was running and Mingi knew what to do they made their way to the entrance where Hongjoong and Seonghwa had came.

"M-mingi," Cargo stuttered his eyes glossy as if he were calling out for an escape himself. Cargo's hand started to shake and the look of realization set in. A smile spread to his face as he stepped back and let his body fall. Cargo was having a seizure and there was nothing that could be done this would be Mingi's fate.

Mingi turned away and continued out with Hongjoong and Seonghwa. The space was cramped in Hongjoong's ship but the two endured it for the rest of the trip. Once they finally made it to the cruiser Hongjoong and Mingi scrambled out.

The nerves were setting in as they came closer to the living quarters. The three boys' voices could be heard as they continued, but none had noticed Seonghwa or Hongjoong coming in.

"Well you sure look great for going on a mission." San joked upon finally noticing Seonghwa's presence.

"Where's Hongjoong?" Wooyoung asked taking in Seonghwa's serious expression. He didn't want to hear any bad news.

"Here," he sighed stepping in.

"You look fuckin terrible, what happened?" With a deep sigh Mingi moved closer to the group.

Wooyoung stared in disbelief and his eyes glossed over.

"Mingi?" His voice was below a whisper anything louder and his voice would've cracked.

"But you?" Wooyoung stood up and made his way over to Mingi to touch him, to make sure it was really him.

"I know and I really don't have much time."

"How?" Wooyoung looked to Hongjoong for an explanation. On that night Wooyoung had watched Mingi die, had held his lifeless body, watched him take his last breath.

"It's a lot but right now we need to focus on a bigger issue," Mingi interrupted.

"He's going to come back and do whatever takes to take all of you out and he won't wait. He's Grimes' son and they operate the same."

Hongjoong's phone buzzed in his pocket the familiar holographic photo of Jongho popped up onto his watch. He touched the picture and the call began.

"I'm catching a large ship headed your way with clear hostile intentions."

"Got it."

"It's him..." Mingi trailed.

"We have extra cases of weapons stacked in the storage." Hongjoong directed.

"I'll lead us to Ruined City." Seonghwa moved to the flight deck.

"Can you drive?" Hongjoong asked Mingi.

Mingi's hand began to shake both him and Hongjoong looked down before Mingi grasped his hand.

"I can lead us." Mingi didn't sound as confident.

"Are you sure, you can stay here." Hongjoong suggested.

"No I need to do this Hongjoong." Hongjoong nodded and made his way back to his ship. The other three returned with the supplies and Seonghwa had landed on top of a large building in the city. Grimes' son was not too far behind and the tabs Jongho was keeping on the enemy showed they had some time.

Wooyoung got into his ship and Yeosang was showing the basics of his for Mingi. Seonghwa had decided to join in and doubled up with San. Mingi's hand began to shake again as he was ready to start it up, Yeosang looked at him with a worried expression.

"Let's go!" Mingi shouted before taking off. The rest followed suit and once the enemy ship was in view they broke off.

Missiles were flying everywhere and despite being by himself he was holding off the group well. "Grimes" landed his cruiser on a neighboring building his activities were quiet. 3 ships shot out and were firing freely with no regard for the other people they were with. Hongjoong in the boys were too busy with the new attackers that they didn't notice the activities on the roof. Jongho's voice came through the speakers in a panic.

"There seems to be some sort of explosive on the roof aimed and ready." Mingi's voice soon broke through.

"The kids in love with old military equipment and making them new. He's been working on something but I don't know exactly what it is. I do know that of that thing goes off it will wipe out this entire city." Mingi's voice was strained as he attempted to dodge more missiles.

"It's too risky to just shoot him down." Seonghwa commented.

"Someone will have to go down there." Wooyoung chimed in.

"I will." Before anyone could say anything else Mingi was already headed in that direction.

"Cover him." Hongjoong commanded. Hongjoong was pleading for Mingi to end up okay and Wooyoung wasn't taking it the best. The two just couldn't watch Mingi die again.

San and Seonghwa took out one of the ships and Wooyoung followed with the second. The biggest ship was harder to take out and Hongjoong had one of Iysis' weapons for that.

"I'm so glad I still have this." Hongjoong released the bomb the explosion happened in mere seconds with just a blink of the eye.

Mingi was still on the roof wrestling with a few guys as "Grimes" frantically tried to set up his new weapon.

There was no more room on the roof for landing the only choice was another roof or the ground. Seonghwa dropped from his ship letting San control both as a whole. The others took note of the situation and each took the closet thing to them to land. They all raced down the steps of the broken down buildings hoping Mingi and Seonghwa could hold them off awhile longer.

Hongjoong ran into the building and up the stairs as fast as his legs could take him. He skipped multiple steps to climb to the top and once he reached it he was out of breath, but he had no time to be thinking about that. The adrenaline was off the chart as he watched Mingi and Seonghwa fight off multiple guys at once. "Grimes" was almost finished but it seemed his contraption wasn't in working condition. He hit the object a couple times and Hongjoong wasted no time going over there to finish him.

He wrestled with Hongjoong for the tiny remote and once it was in Hongjoong's hands he threw it off the side of the building.

"Idiot there's buttons on the side as well what are you going to do throw it over too? That could also mean the end for us all." He smiled. His smile was sick and Hongjoong could tell this whole encounter was getting him off. He was nothing like Grimes even if they are father and son.

"Looks like I'll just have to throw you." Hongjoong was pushing him to the and "Grimes" was holding in for dear life. Hongjoong knew the risk but he was willing to take it even if that meant he'd die and Seonghwa as well as the others had a chance. So Hongjoong let him hold onto him and planned to jump.

"Hongjoong!" They shouted as they watched his foot leave the edge of the building. Wooyoung and San had just made it up to the roof and Yeosang wasn't far behind as he saw Hongjoong's body falling.
