Nyema Pov
I was so happy that Dre gave me another chance. I wasn't gonna fuck this one up. We were laying down watching a movie and there was a knock on my hospital room door. "Come in." I said. The door slowly opened. I was shocked when I saw Ace because he must've wanted a death wish. Dre got up. "The fuck you doing here man." He said. "I come in peace. I just want to talk to Nyema.. if that's okay." He took a deep breath. "Don't get comfortable. I'll be outside the door baby." he said as he kissed my forehead. He kept his glare on Ace the whole time he was walking out. Ace then took a seat in the chair next to my bed.
"How are you feeling ?" "I'm getting better, I'll be in here for another week but I'll be fine." I said. "And you ?" I asked. He sighed and put his head down. "I'm sorry Nyema... no amount of sorry's can ever show how sorry I am. I was ready to step up and be a father to this child but when I heard you miscarried a bit of heart broke, and to think I'm the one who caused all of this too. I was just so mad because I was starting to like, maybe even love you. If I had never walked up to you at that party then we wouldn't be here right now. I should've never put my hands on you, I was raised a hell of a lot better than that. There's no excuse I can make and nothing I can do to change what I did. I don't know what I was thinking, thinking I can take you away from Dre that dude is your soul mate, I can't mess that up. I am honestly just so sorry for all I put you through." he said.
"I forgive you." I simply said. "You do ?" he asked. "I do." I smiled at him. "Thank you, I honestly wish you and Dre the best." "Thank you Ace, take care of yourself." He smiled at me and left out. A few seconds later Dre walked in reclaiming his spot on my bed. "That nigga better know I ain't going no where." he said facing the tv. I laughed. "You were listening ?!?!" I said. "Hell yeah I was." he said. I rolled my eyes playfully and rubbed his head. The rest of the day was just talking and enjoying each others company.
Kei Pov
We was on our way to the hospital to visit Nyema. It was me, Tania, and Gabby. Jeremiah, Vinnie, Vonte, and Shay was all at twins house.
We was all gonna head there later. We pulled up the hospital and then went to Nyema's room. "Hey girl." "Hey babies." she said happy to see us. We all sat down around her bed and then we heard a flush in the bathroom. We all turned to the door and that's when Dre came out shirtless. We looked back at Nyema. "Relax, Doctor said no sex for 2 weeks." We laughed. "Wussup y'all." Dre said. "We all good but look son you gotta leave. It's girl talk time. The boys is at Vonte house." Gabby said. "Damn it's like that ?" he said holding his chest. "Just like that." we all said. "Ight damn ! bossy." he put his shirt on. "Bye baby." he kissed Nyema's forehead then left out. "Girl that boy is a rider." Tania said. "He sure is. I would've cut me off." Nyema said. "So what y'all been up to ? how's everyone going. Forget about me for a second." she said.
"Me and Shay are doing amazing. He really my baby for real. He let all that street shit go and he really just been doing better in keeping my trust." Tania said. "Girl same, it's like Jeremiah is a new damn person. He don't cheat, he tells me everything, literally everything. If a girl texts him or flirts, he tells me. He frequently let's me check his phone and doesn't argue when I ask. He makes more time for me and literally hates to be away from me an-" my phone dinged. "Speak of the devil, here he go texting me I miss you." I smiled and texted back quickly. "That boy did a whole 360." I sighed happily thinking about much Jeremiah changed for me. I love that kid. "Girl, I'm just happy Dre even showed up here. I was ready for that boy to never speak to me again, but we gon bounce back from this one. I feel it in my heart that we gon make it." Nyema said. Gabby was just sitting on her phone not really talking.
"What about you miss thing." Tania said nudging her thigh. "What about me ?" she said. "who got your heart ?" I said. "Not a damn soul. Me, myself, and I. You know my body girl. Just living my best life." she said. "You lying, Kyle ?" I said. She busted out laughing. "Wait bitch Kyle !" Nyema said. "Kyle your ex Keilani ?!?!" she said. "Yep !" I said. "Bitch shut up, that was a whole joke." Gabby said. "So why don't you stop playing and tell us who you really want then ?" Tania said. "And who would that be ?" "Vonte, girl stop that acting, this broadway." I said. Her jaw dropped a little. "What ? disagree, I dare you." I said. She said nothing. "Exactly. You want Vonte." I said. "Even if I did bitch he a baba so no." she said causing us to laugh a little bit. "You can change him." Tania said. "The fuck you think this is ? Wreck-it Ralph ? I ain't no Fix it Felix. I don't change nor fix people. That's not my job, that's all you honey, I'll be sure to send him over." We all laughed.
