The next morning I awake by the loud snoring next to my ears. I open my eyes to find that I'm in an unfamiliar room and the snoring is coming from River, the brunette girl Olivia knows and I realize I'm in her bedroom.
Memories from last night flash through my mind as I try to remember everything. I remember playing that game with Harry and his friends and I got so bored with it that I tried to go back up to River's bedroom and go to sleep but Harry insisted we go in the back yard to sit on the large swing outside, which I obliged.
But, I don't remember much of what our conversation was about, but I do know that whenever I came back up here it was almost seven in the morning.
..
"Olivia, wake up!" I say, hitting her stomach with a pillow. "I'm up!" She groans and rolls over on the bed.
"What time is it?" She asks as I sit on the chair in the corner of the room. "11:30." "What the fuck? It's too early!" She says as I roll my eyes and continue scrolling through my phone.
River comes in a little later with a towel on top of her head. "I don't know how I'm supposed to get the rest of these people out of my house. My parents are going to be home in less than three hours and they're all knocked out." She explains, anxiously.
"Will you help me try to wake these fuckers up?" She says calmly as she removes the towel and starts to dry her hair with it. "Sure," I nod as I stand from the chair.
We finally wake up Olivia as she goes downstairs with River and I to wake the guests up and clean.
I walk into the kitchen and search the cabinets for a large garbage bag as I finally find one under the sink.
I began putting all of the plastic cups in it and empty alcohol bottles inside of it. I hear River and Olivia waking some of the people in the living room up. "Need help?" A deep voice with an accent asks as I turn around to see Harry with a mess of curls on top of his head. He's wearing his all black clothing that I remember him wearing from last night.
"Uh, no I've got it.. Thanks." I respond and continue cleaning up the kitchen. He doesn't listen and I watch as he puts the cups in the bag also. I grab a rag that's sitting in the kitchen as I pour water on it and start cleaning up the messy food droppings around the pizza boxes as Harry puts the stack of pizza boxes into the garbage bag.
"Thanks," I respond once the kitchen is pretty decent looking. "No problem." He says as he ties the black bag and leaves the room.
I walk into the living room to see River straightening everything up and back to normal. I don't see Olivia anywhere but it's getting late and I have to be home soon, so I go upstairs and gather my things together as I see Olivia is in here doing the same thing.
"Are you ready?" I question her as she nods and we walk out of the room.
"Are you leaving?" Harry asks me as I reach the bottom of the stairs. Olivia stops also but I look at her as she says "I'll be in the car." and I nod.
"Yeah," My response is short, but what else was I supposed to say?
"Well, can I get your number?" He asks kindly.
Harry and I exchange numbers quickly. We say goodbye to one another as I also say goodbye to River and thank her for letting me sleep at her house.
I meet Olivia in the car as she soon pulls into my driveway and lets me out at my house.
..
The rest of the afternoon is spent in my bedroom until I finally come out and shower and eat dinner.
I haven't received a text message from Harry, but I don't know if I'm really expecting one or not. Most party boys only want to hook up or use you for booze anyway and I'm sure that's the only reason he wanted my number in the first place.
River did say he was known for partying, but I wonder what that actually means.
