A few nights ago at the park, I got to know Harry and Liam a lot better. I learned that Liam is staying with Harry for his senior year because he wanted to live in America for a little while since he's visited before during the summer.
After a few hours there, Liv and I had gotten tired and went back to her house. Harry promised me he'd text me the next day and he sure did keep that promise because it's now one in the morning three days later and I'm on Face time with him.
"Harry, I'm so tired," I yawn. Harry and I have been on Face time since 4pm. The only time we stopped face timing was when we went to eat dinner. But, right after that Harry called me again.
"What are you singing?" Harry asks once I began humming along to the music playing from my TV.
"I'm not singing, I'm humming," I say with a slight smirk.
He lightly chuckles. "What are you humming then?"
"Sam Smith." I say.
"Sing it to me."
"No." I say as Harry just slightly nods his head.
I then grab a book I'm currently reading from my bedside table and prop my phone up on my blanket. "What are you doing?" Harry asks as I lay in front of the phone.
"Reading," I answer.
"Reading what?"
"To kill a mocking bird," I groan.
"I've read it. So boring." Harry rolls his eyes and then smiles a small smile but I notice his dimples.
"It's kind of good, I watched the movie a really long time ago but I don't remember it much. I have to read it for class," I say.
"I had to read it in eighth grade. I didn't even really read it, I just made it seem like I did," Harry explains.
"How'd you do that?" I look at him through the phone.
"Well, I'd scan through the book and wait-" He pauses, "Is this going to make you not do your homework, missy?" He smiles.
''No, I have to write a paper about it and turn it in by the end of the semester. And I don't cheat." I wink.
"Did you just wink at me?" He points his finger at me,
"Me? Of course not," I wink.
"You're disracting me from my story," He smirks.
"Okay, sorry. Go on,"
"So anyway, I would scan through the book and highlight the words I should say to the class. Like, I would highlight something out of the book, write it down on a piece of paper and read it while I was in class. I'd form a sentence of the characters." He pauses. "Like, Scout and...What's their names?" He asks, making me laugh.
"Jem." I say and then say, "So, you would say something like, 'I thought it was very strange for Scout, Dill and Jem to be terrified of, and fascinated by, their neighbor, "Boo" Radley.?'" I ask, deepening my voice, trying to sound like Harry. He laughs really loud at my attepmt to sound like him, "Yes. That is what I would say and that is not what I sound like," He laughs and I join in.
His laugh is so adorable.
"You sound exactly like that!" I raise my voice, smiling at him. "Not at all," He laughs..
..
Three days until Christmas and I'm finally done with Christmas shopping, today was the day I finally got everything for everyone I needed to get and I surprisingly got all of it done at a reasonable time, I usually don't finish it all until Christmas Eve.
Tomorrow Olivia, Tate, River and Levi are all coming over to my house to have our traditional early gift party, where we give each other our gifts we got each other the day before Christmas, but we do dirty Santa. And we cannot tell another person who got who's name.. But, I got Tate's.
As I'm wrapping more gifts, my phone begins to ring as I stand from my floor and walk over to my bedside table, where it's on the charger, I see Harry's name flashing on the screen,
"Hello?" I say sweetly.
"Hello, love. Are you busy?" His British accent comes through over the phone.
"Not at the moment, just finished wrapping a few gifts." I respond.
"Ahh, I see. Come over and bring cookies." He says then hangs up.
I then put on my boots and a black jacket and walk across the hall to Ana's room. My dad and step-mom are already in bed and it's only ten o'clock so there's no point in waking them up and asking them when I'm sure they wouldn't mind anyway. My parents have heard of Harry, they haven't met him yet and I'm not sure if I'll let them but they're usually understanding with that.
I've told them a few things about Harry and they know I see him kind of often, like when I went to the mall with him, they knew.
"Hey, I'm going to Harry's house. Be home later, bye." I try to say before she can stop me with her sister protection questions.
"When will you be back?" She asks.
"Around midnight or so? I guess." I say, standing in the doorway.
"Okay, well just text me when you're on your way home." She says as I nod and walk out.
Out of the house and into my car, I put the text message of Harry's address in the GPS on my phone and within minutes I'm pulling into his driveway. I see Harry's black car parked in the driveway.
It's a decent home from the outside, from what I can see in the dark anyway.
I pull up beside Harry's car in the driveway in front of the garage and text him to let him know I'm outside.
The front light is turned on as I get out of my car and walk up to the front door. It's a typical house from outside, every other house in the neighborhood looks about the same.
Harry opens the door dressed in a white T-shirt and black sweatpants. Almost the same thing I'm wearing. I didn't care about dressing up, I just wanted to be comfortable in what I was already wearing so I just threw my boots on and a black jacket over my white T-shirt and grey sweats.
"Hey," He smiles at me, moving out of the way and letting me walk in.
"Hey," I return the smile as he closes the door.
