// So sorry it took so long to update, but I'm doing double update tonight!!//
"I'd rather not actually." I respond as I turn towards the wall and pull my shirt back over my head.
"Oh.. Really?" He says, amused as if he's never been rejected by a female before.
"Yes, really. Will you get out please?" I ask kindly.
"I could, but.." He pauses. "I could just stay in here." He says. What the fuck? What kind of random guy wants to stay in a girls room with another girl he doesn't even know?
"Do you know the girl who lives here or something? Because if she said you can sleep in her room, you can have it and I'll go somewhere else." I cross my arms over my chest.
"No, no." He shakes his head and runs his hand through his hair. "I'll go."
And with that he walks out of the bedroom as I lock the door behind him and change out of my not so comfortable clothes and into my shorts and a T-shirt.
A few minutes later Olivia walks in with a brunette girl following behind her. I realize it's the same girl that was sitting beside her as we were sitting around the fire. I assume Olivia knows her pretty well but she hasn't introduced her to me all night.
They stumble into the bedroom and Olivia sits at the end of the large bed that I'm laying on to take her shoes off. The brunette girl stands in her large closet as she fumbles with the clothes hanging on a rod and I'm assuming she's looking for something to change into. "Do you guys know who the guy with the dark bushy hair is? Kinda tall?" I ask, knowing Olivia doesn't know who he is but maybe this other girl does.
"Harry?" She speaks. "I don't know is name." I respond.
"You're probably talking about Harry. Wearing all black?" She asks as I nod.
"Yeah, that's Harry. He's known for partying. First time I've had a party here in awhile but just about every single one I've been to around here, he's there." She explains and I nod along.
"So, I take it you two are pretty close?" I ask for no apparent reason because it doesn't even sound that way.
"I wouldn't say we were pretty close. He's just one of those people you know of and speak to every time you see them out. But I don't think Harry is really close with anyone honestly." She giggles as she finally pulls a tank top from the hanger.
"Is anyone still here or did everyone leave?" I ask.
"A shit load of people are still downstairs." Olivia groans.
..
After Olivia and the brunette girl, River fall asleep. I head downstairs for something to drink. This house is very large including the room and bed we're all in. Except for River. Her bed has a smaller bed that slides out from under it and she fell asleep in it.
As I'm walking downstairs, I see multiple people still drinking and some passed out all across the living room. I make my way to the kitchen and grab another plastic red cup and fill it with water from the ice maker machine attached to the refrigerator. I glance into the dining room to see a few people including Harry sitting at the large table playing a card game.
Once my cup is filled, I turn to go back up the stairs until someone grabs my arm and turns me to face them. "Wanna play?" He questions. Here we go again.
"No, thank you." I try to release myself from his grip but he just holds on tighter. "I'm really tired," I say, faking a yawn.
"Yeah, I'm not stupid. C'mon, it won't kill you to play a couple hands of a card game." Why does this guy want me to play a game with him so bad?
"What game are you even playing?" I ask.
"Allies." He says.
"Don't know what it is." I say as I turn around to go back upstairs, once again.
"You can learn." He takes my arm in his hand again and pulls me into the dining room. He pulls out the chair that's sitting beside him as he takes a seat into the one next to him and I sit down also as I look to my left, I see an african american girl beside me and a few people are across from me also. I didn't notice there were this many people in here.
None of these faces look familiar and that's probably a bad thing. I've seen movies and read books, someones either going to embarrass the shit out of me or we might end up like middle schoolers and kiss in a closet. Who the hell knows what these people do at four in the morning.
"How do I play?" I ask everyone at the table as the guy with black hair who has the deck of cards in hand says "There's only red and black cards in this deck. So what I do is draw the top card from this deck and ask the person sitting across from me guesses if it's red or black."
"So, Dom. Red or black?" He asks the person across from him. "Black." The guy beside Harry answers as the black haired guy says red. "See, he guessed wrong so he has to take a shot of whiskey. But if he were to guess right, then he wouldn't have to drink at all." He explains to me.
I nod as the guy asks the same thing back to the other guy and then Harry and the guy across from him take a shot. The girl across from me asks the colors "Red," I say as she slides the card back under the deck. "Correct." She responds.
The girl beside me takes a shot of whiskey and then it's brought back along the rest of the others until it's brought to Harry and he gets it correctly. It's brought back to me as I guess wrong, I drink.
"All fun and games, but. I'm over it." I whisper to Harry as I start to stand up.
"Wait," He says, placing his hand above my knee. "We can play another game or do something else." He says as if he just wants to hangout with me.
"Fine. Find something else to play then." I say as I fold my arms in front of me and lay my head in them.
