"Girls, Katherine and I are going out of town for a week." My father says, it's been two days since Christmas, which means they're wedding anniversary is in a few days so they always go out of town.

"We'll be visiting my family in Washington and spending a week there on vacation." So they won't be here for my birthday? This is fucking great.

"So we won't be here for your birthday but this is the only time we were able to get a hotel for our anniversary trip. I'm sorry, honey." My dad apologizes, "We'll be back the day after and can celebrate then but I trust you two to keep the house happy and healthy and suggest you eat right and not order pizza everyday. I'll have the neighbors call you during the days to check up on you." My dad explains.

Ana and I eye each other from across the table, trying hard to hold our excitement in as we finish our breakfast.

My parents spend their day at work as Ana goes out with Devon and I stay in the house all day. I walk into my bedroom and decide to reorganize all of the perfume and body spray bottles sitting on my shelf. As I move a few around, I glance down at the shelf below to see a small white box sitting on it with my name written in cursive on a small note attached to it.

I flip it over to see "Harry, x" Written in cursive also. Opening the box, my eyes widen to see a beautiful necklace with diamond roses hanging from it. I immediately grab my phone and call Harry's phone.

"It's too much, I can't take this." I say as soon as I hear his voice greet me on the phone.

"You finally found that? I left it there on Christmas," He chuckles slightly.

"Yeah, I just noticed it while I was reorganizing my perfume shelf." I say.

"Yeah, that thing was needing some fixing up," He laughs again and I laugh with him.

"Well, thank you for the gift. That was very kind of you." I say, sitting on my bed.

"You're welcome, love. Talk to you later." He says as I tell him goodbye and finish organizing..

...

"See you girls, Sunday!" Katherine says as she sits in the passenger seat of their SUV. "Love you both, be good please. See you soon." My dad says, as he sits in the drivers seat. 

"Love you guys," Ana and I both say. "See you soon," She says as we wave them off as they're pulling out of the driveway to our house and begin driving down the road, on their way to Washington DC.

"Quite nuts driving nine hours just for an anniversary trip," I say as Ana and I walk back in the house. "Might be nuts but we still get to do whatever we want for an entire week!" Ana says with excitement as she continues. "This is great for winter break too! We can have a party every night!" 

"Tonight?" I ask, "Might as well! I'll call up some college buddies for some alky and you can bring some of your friends too." She says with excitement clear in her voice.

After calling up Tate, Olivia, Levi and River who show up in no time and a few of Ana's buddies who bring the booze. 

"I definitely think that you should call him," River says as she takes a seat on the barstool in the kitchen. "Shouldn't she invite him?" Olivia asks Levi and Tate who are in the kitchen with us. They don't say much. Tate finally says, "I mean, it's a party. Just ask him if he wants to come." 

And I did. I texted Harry and asked him if he wanted to come and he did. He was here ten minutes after I had sent him the text.

"Are you sure you don't want anything to drink?" Levi asks Harry. I pour myself some more vodka into my plastic red cup and lean against the black counter in the kitchen. "Yeah, bud. I've gotta drive home." Harry responds as Ana walks in and says, "You can always stay the night." 

Harry gives me a look with his eyebrows raised as I shrug my shoulders, not caring if he stayed the night. Everyone continues on talking and ignoring the two of us as I say quietly to Harry, "I wouldn't mind." His eyes are focused on the floor beneath us as he sticks his tongue out to lick his lips.
