At 17, we were dating other people. You were dating the popular cheerleader, the skinniest, 'prettiest' girl at school. All your friends thought you were the coolest, and I was at the bottom of the school food chain. No more hanging out in a group because you were now 'popular'. Not that I minded, I didn't really know you then. I was content with my small group of nerd friends and my geeky boyfriend.
