At 34, Baby Number Two was on its way. We had survived Isaiah's first two years so we figured we could do it again, right? I think we were so much more ready with this one. This time we knew how to change diapers, how to keep a baby entertained. This time it was a baby girl. She was everything that was good in the world. Even when she was screaming at 2am because of her hiccups or if she had horrible, dirty, smelly, nasty diapers.
It didn't matter what kind of day I had, whenever I saw her face light up, I knew we were where we were supposed to be.
