"Did the mouse finally talk?"
Namjoon sighed, shaking his head to Hoseok's question as both of them stared outside the interrogation room. They could see and hear everything that's happening inside.
Officer Lee is currently questioning the assassin that they captured the other night.
His team received an anonymous call about the firings that happened inside an internet café near Gyeongju.
They quickly responded in the middle of the night, following the coordinates given by their informant.
It took them half an hour to arrive at the place, seeing gunshot holes by the door, glasses shattered, confirming that there had been firings that happened inside the establishment.
Officer Namjoon headed his team inside, guns on point as they carefully raided the café.
A couple of computers were knocked on the floor, the whole place a total mess, looking like an aftermath of a serious fight.
The officer instructed his team to check on the left wing while they took on the stairs leading to the second floor.
He was halted, seeing droplets of blood in the steps going up. They followed the trail, leading them to an unconscious wounded man in the corner, hands tied on his back, mouth sealed by a handkerchief.
On his left was a note that says "Assassin."
Officer Namjoon and his team took the man with them and aided his gunshot wounds.
He was put in interrogation as soon as his wounds were bandaged and cleaned by their resident physician.
"Do you think we could get information from him?" Hoseok asked, eyes not leaving the man who just sat silently in front of officer Lee, mouth tightly shut.
Namjoon sighed. "We have to."
Hoseok shakes his head. "What if he's not an assassin? Could we really trust that note and whoever called us that night?"
Namjoon rubbed his chin, sighing in uncertainty as he looked at the files in front of him. He lifted it up, scanning the profile over and over again.
The man's name is Park Jinyoung, age 23 and a baker who lived in Busan. He attended Busan University for two years. No record of family members and even his relatives. Doesn't have any filed complaints against his name. His police record's as clean as a slate.
Anyone who reads his records will think that he's just an ordinary civilian living a normal life.
However, Namjoon knows better.
When they captured him, they saw blades and knives hidden in his jacket pocket and not to mention, the Beretta 92fs handgun and a silencer gave it away.
A normal baker won't be needing such top caliber gun, and won't be found almost dying in an internet café with gunshot wounds.
They also found gunpowders in his jacket, indicating that he fired into someone. However, Namjoon's team already checked the whole place for possible droplets of blood aside from the one in their custody, but found none.
It's either this guy's aim sucks, or the opponent is just wise not to leave any trace that will give away his identity.
They tried tracking down the number who called them and reported about the incident, but they found out that the number was already discarded.
