Fourteen

Location: Seoul Police Station
Time: 6:58 pm

Jimin stood from his seat, wiping away his tears as he heard the police rush out of the station.

He saw officer Namjoon run towards the door with few of his men following behind.

"What's going on?"

Jimin heard Jin ask but did not get any answer from the police who are rushing around.

They have been anxiously waiting in the station for God knows how long, their palms sweating excessively as the time passes by.

Jimin came to Namjoon's side, halting his movements and forcefully turning him around.

"What's happening?" Jimin asked, his voice shaking from too much worry and fear.

Namjoon was a bit shocked to see who halted him. He sighed, turning his head towards his colleagues, giving them a signal to head out without him.

The other officers quickly followed, letting Namjoon face the worried young man in front of him.

"Have you found Tae?" Jimin inquired, his grip tightening around the officer's arm.

"I totally forgot that the two of you are still here." Namjoon muttered under his breath. He held Jimin by his arm, dragging him back to where Jin is.

"I asked you. Have you found him?!" Jimin's voice heightened, his eyes pleading and swollen from all the crying.

The officer forced the smaller man to sit next to Jin who also looks hopeful.

"Listen. I need to go now and I don't have much time to explain things to you." Namjoon stated, his hands gripping down on the shoulders of the two men.

"Stay here and wait for my updates." Namjoon looked around, eyes landing on the incoming officer.

"Officer Lee!" He called out, making the latter flinch and run towards him.

"Yes, sir?" Lee answered, eyes looking back and forth Namjoon and the two males.

"These are Doctor Kim's relatives. I need you to inform them every update that I'll send over. Do you understand?" Namjoon ordered, eyes seriously fixated on the officer.

Lee nodded his head, saluting before Namjoon hurriedly went out of the station, leaving Jimin and Jin behind.

"What's going on officer? Why is everyone on a rush? Have you found my cousin?" Jin inquired, looking straight to the officer's eyes to find answers in them.

Officer Lee sighed. "We got a call from an informant that he saw a suspicious man earlier this morning, entering an abandoned warehouse near Icheon."

Jimin gasped as Jin clasped his hands. "What do you mean? Do you think it's the killer?"

Officer Lee shakes his head, uncertain. "We can't be sure. It could only be a false report, but the caller insisted that prior to seeing the man this morning, he has seen the suspicious man last night carrying a huge black bag over his shoulders like a sack of rice but with a size of a human. What bothers the caller even more is the fact that he heard someone crying and shouting inside the warehouse only this afternoon when he was on his way home."

Jin clutched Jimin's hands even more. "I-is there a possibility that it's him?"

"There is a small possibility, but right now, we could only hope. At this moment, we could only use whatever information we could get. The killer is slick. He didn't leave any trace in the video that would tell his location." Lee uttered, eyes boring holes in the two males.
