Armani moved her way through the hospital's hallways, tears falling from her reddened eyes as her mind couldn't help but go to the worst scenario of what could be wrong with her father.

After getting the call from her mother that Big Muh had passed out and had to be transmitted to the hospital, she didn't waste any time dashing out of Justin's apartment. She couldn't imagine anything happening to her father, the first love of her life - even if she did happen to be upset with him at the moment.

None of that mattered. With her mind running a hundred miles per minute and her feet at a faster pace, Armani just hoped her mean words weren't the last thing her Dad would've heard from her. She would never forgive herself for that.

Making a right just as the receptionist instructed, she landed in the waiting area where the rest of the family sat - their heads bowed down in deep thoughts of their own.

"Mom, what happened?" Armani's voice broke the silence in the room, causing everyone to look up.

Jocelyn stood to approach her daughter, "The doctors say he suffered a mild heart attack...right now he's in the ICU. We were just eating dinner one minute and the next he was clutching his chest, it was horrible." Her tears began to overflow.

Armani pulled her mother into her, "But he's going to be okay though, right? Did the doctors say anything?"

Jocelyn could barely speak as the thought of losing her fiancé was unbearable. She loved Muhammad all of her life, so to picture it without him was unimaginable. Especially when they were so close to finally tying the knot after what felt like forever.

"Not yet" Nico said, standing up from his chair - his eyes swollen and tired as if he had been crying as well, "But don't worry Mani, Pops will pull through. He's strong."

At Least that's what Nico wanted to believe. All of his life his father had been in picture perfect health, always being the one to preach how imperative it was to take care of the human body - both mentally and physically. He did his dirt just like everyone else, but to Nico he was perfect.

Mainly due to the fact that he raised Nico and his siblings without any help once Sabrina died, never once complaining - instead making sure to shower them with even more love. The thought of losing both of his parents tore him up inside, but he had to be strong for his little sister.

"I know" Armani sniffled, "Did you call Ron?"

"Yeah, but he didn't answer. Probably the time difference" Nico shook his head, "hopefully by the time he reaches back out Dad will be stable and we can give him good news".

"I'm going to see if the doctors can give us an update." Jocelyn said giving the two siblings some time alone.

Nico wrapped his arm around Armani's shoulders as she lowered her head, "What if our argument is the last thing —"
