When the rest of the Avengers got home, I retreated to my room. I could hear them, and boy can they get loud. It wasn't until the pillow I had shoved over my head caused my skin to redden out of irritation, then I decided it was enough. "Jarvis tell Tony I'm going out." I grabbed my suit from the closet, oddly enough I don't remember leaving it there last time I had it. I shoved the material onto my body, fighting the urge to groan at the overly sensitive feeling of my skin. I tugged the mask over my face and opened the window. I didn't think, I dove out into the barely lit sky and just before I could hit the ground, I swung myself up to the donut shop a fair feet away from the compound.

I swung around, keeping my head high despite the roaring of the wind in my ears. The hair on the nape of my neck stood up and I landed on the roof closest to me, waiting for whatever was following me to land as well. "Spidey!" Deadpool yelled out. I turned and smiled through my mask. "Wade." He moved closer to me, sitting on the ledge. I sat down too, my feet dangling. "Where were you?" I looked at the antihero and sighed. "I spent 3 weeks in a mental hospital and 2 days in a prison cell." I pulled the gloves off my hands and showed him my burned and blistered skin. "Prison?" I nodded and sighed, pulling the gloves back on. "There was a security issue and I somehow ended up in a prison cell made for villains, and I burnt my hands trying to get out." Talk about traumatized.

Wade and I stayed out on the ledge for awhile, just silently watching for crime. "Hey I want to apologize for taking off your mask, that was uncalled for and I shouldn't have done that." I looked at him and smiled. "I'm not upset about it Wade, you were just making sure I was okay...speaking of, thank you for uh..giving some of your blood." He shrugged and leaned back on his elbows. "It's not a big deal, I didn't think of an repercussions though, you could end up being immortal." I just sighed and fell back onto the roof, staring up at the pink and yellow sky. "Why...the hospital?" Wade asked, his voice unsure and concerned. "My aunt died 2 months ago, robbery gone wrong. I had been having flashbacks and nightmares and finally decided to go get help. I was in a mental hospital for PTSD treatment." Wade whistled lowly. "The X-Men made me do something like that because of the voices in my head. They thought that was what makes me crazy." I chuckled, turning my head to look at the red and black clad man. "You and I aren't so different huh?" Wade snorted. "I kill people, I think that makes us at least 50 percent different." "You kill bad people. I stop bad people and some die. I was referring to the mental issues." I laughed quietly, deciding to take off my mask to breathe a bit better.

"How are you so young?" I ruffled my hair and shrugged. "I was bit by a radioactive spider at 14, I didn't do anything at first. Then my uncle Ben died and I promised him I would use my powers for good. My aunt May was so angry when she found out, but she warmed up to the idea after watching a live broadcast of me saving children from a burning orphanage. Tony Stark tracked me down and asked me to join the Avengers. My aunt died a month later and here I am. I've been doing this for 2 years and I never thought about how young I am." Wade looked down at me and I swore I could see a smile through his mask. "16 huh? I learn more about you everyday Kid." "What about you?" The man shrugged. "I was in Special Forces, discharged for wrongfully killing someone and joined the mercenary business. I met the love of my life and proposed. I was then found with late stage thyroid cancer. I left her to go get help and was tortured into activating mutant powers. Which is how my body became like this-" He cut himself off and pulled up the top of his mask, revealing his face. I sat up, reaching out to touch, only for him to grab my hand. I blushed and pulled my hand back, "Sorry." He smiled and kept his mask off.

"I then tracked down the guy that did this to me and killed him, got my girl back and we were supposed to start a family. She was then murdered and I had to save some kid from becoming a world risk. Got put in a mutant prison and almost died from cancer. Met a time traveler and almost died again, went back in time and went to save my girl, but ultimately decided I couldn't do that to her or myself. I came back here and met you." "Your life is more fucked up." I decided and he laughed loudly. "I'm willing to share. The title of fucked up lives that is." I chuckled. "If you don't mind me asking, why were you living with your aunt and uncle?" I closed my eyes. "When I was 7, my dad's lab crumbled and it trapped him and my mom. They both died. Some company bought it and started testing on different creatures, that's where I got my powers." My comms crackled and I put my finger to my ear. "Peter, Peter come in." "I'm here, Cap what's up?" "Tony is throwing a party tonight and Thor is coming home, we want you to come." I looked sideways at Wade. "Uh okay. I'll be home soon." His side never responded and I grabbed my mask, pulling it back on. "It was nice seeing you Wade, I've got to go." I stood up and the Wade put his hand out for a fist bump. I chuckled lightly and gave him what he wanted. "You have my number, I'll see you around Spidey." I jumped off the roof and nose dived before swinging up and toward the compound.
