Chapter 22: We need a break

"I think we need a break..."

"What?! What are you talking about?! Are you serious?!" Nayeon said in shock

Tzuyu just looked down.

"Tzuyu think of your decision firmly. Don't make decisions that'll make you suffer in the end." Nayeon convinced

"I did unnie.. I thought about it many times. Now that we are idols, we have our own responsibilities. And I think it's not bad to prioritize it..." She said

"Aigoo~" Nayeon surrendered "If that'll make you comfortable.. but how would you tell him? I'm sure he'll be sad and broken. As well as you too."

"I'll meet him later.." She said

"Jinja?! Why don't you give it time again?" Nayeon tried to convince again

"I don't have much time unnie. We'll be really busy."

"Aishh~ arasseo. But when will you tell to the other members?"

"After our talk later. I will tell them."

Taehyung's POV
We finished our meeting a while ago, but I can't understand Tzuyu. Why didn't she even talked to me? Is she mad? It's driving me nuts!

"Hyung someone's calling!" Jungkook said as he tosses me my phone

"Who is it?"

"I don't know. It's ringing." He answered

I looked at the caller ID and was shocked when I saw who's calling. I answered it immediately

"Yeobseyeo?" I said

"Taehyung-ah we need to talk. I need to talk to you." She said coldly

That made my heart beats fast due to nervousness. Why does she want to talk to me? Is there something wrong?

"Ri--ght n-ow?" I stuttered

"Yes right now." She answered me very coldly. "Do you remember the resto where you planned to confess? Meet me there."

"Arasseo..." I said

Tzuyu's POV
After the talk with unnie, I decided to call Taehyung.

"Yeobseyeo?"  He said

"Taehyung-ah we need to talk. I need to talk to you." I said coldly

I think it's bothering him.

"Ri--ght n-ow?" He stuttered.

Is he nervous? Does he got a hint?

"Yes right now." I answered him very coldly so that I won't hesitate anymore. "Do you remember the resto where you planned to confess? Meet me there."

"Arasseo..." He answered and ended the call

I need to break up with you even though you showed and make me feel nothing but endless love and happiness. I think time will come and let us love each other without a barrier between the two of us. I don't want you to always think of me and call me when you're really busy. And I don't want you to worry for me anymore. I don't know, I just don't want to bother people that has a lot of responsibilities in their backs. I'll end it as how we started.  I thought as I am getting ready to meet him. And I can feel the tears in my eyes. Don't cry tzuyu-ah, he'll understand.. I comforted my self.

at the resto...

I saw him already sitting at the resto. It's the same seat as before. It makes me hesitate.

As he saw me coming, he stands and hugged me. I hugged him back cause it'll be the last time I can hug him like this.

"What's wrong?" He asked me while hugging.

I didn't noticed it but, I'm crying...

Taehyung's POV
I'm already at the resto waiting for her. What's the problem? Is she sad? How can she be? They debut already and we watched it. She's happy a while ago. What's the matter?

After a few minutes of thinking, I saw her opening the resto door. And as soon as I saw her I hugged her.

"What's wrong?" I said delicately while hugging her.

But she didn't answered. She just hugged me. But later on, I can feel my clothes wet. Is she crying? I can hear sobs. She's crying! Why?!

I broke the hug to see her. Her eyes are red and swollen. I hugged her again and make her sit down.

"What's wrong tzuyu-ah?" I asked in a very delicate voice

She didn't answer. But she took off something.

the necklace that I gave her...

"Why did you take it off?" I asked feeling nervous

"Tae, I think..we.. need a...break.." she said.

That sentence made my heart drop and break into tiny pieces.

"Wh--at are you- talk--ing ab-out?" I stuttered. I feel like anytime I'll cry in front of her.

"I can't stand it Tae. I don't want you to worry about me, wait for my calls, and to bother you when you're busy. I don't want to be a distraction to you. You just have to focus on your career as well as me. But we can't do that if we will call and worry about each other." She said not looking at me

"Do you think after this I can focus? Do you think after this I can't worry about you anymore? That's crazy Tzuyu! You're going to make me crazy!" I raised my voice

She's still crying and not looking at me. I calmed myself first before talking to her again.

"Tzuyu, look at me..." But she didn't "look at me please.." I begged and this time she looked at me
